For those of you who battle with depression, we worship a Jesus who is alive. I struggled with depression for years since I was a teenager. I had suicidal thoughts all the time. Until one day I was invited to church. I didn’t make it on time and arrived like 10 minutes before it was over. Of course I was tempted to stay home because I thought why would I even go if it will be over in 10 minutes. I made up my mind and said: You know what, a second in the presence of God can change my whole life. I will go. Well when I got there the sermon was almost over and it was about a Blind man who’s eyes were healed by Jesus. The blind man asked: Jesus, if you want, can you heal him? And God responded yes I can. I was standing on the very back, far away and all I could say on my mind was :Jesus, if you want, can you heal me? Jesus if you want can you heal me? And I said it over and over. Well, the sermon finished and people who had not accepted Jesus were asked to go upfront because the pastor was going to pray for them. He said only those who have not accepted Jesus. I had accepted Jesus so I stayed on the back asking Jesus to heal me. While the pastor was praying for people at the front he suddenly stopped and said: wait, I have to stop. There is a woman here who is asking Jesus if he wants if he can heal her. The Lord says Yes, he wants to. When the pastor said that I started to vomit and I fainted. In conclusion, it’s been 4 years and I was healed completely from depression.
