After a few years of trying, I finally managed to spear my first Striped Marlin here in New Zealand. No better place to do it than in my own backyard off the coast of where I grew up.
One of the most memorable days of my life and I'm so glad to have captured it on film to share with everyone!

What an incredible Fish, that sucker weighed 210.32 lbs.!!! I would have loved to be able to try smoked and cured Striped Marlin. never had the fish before. Definitely a bucket list item to spearfish and have to eat!
