Apparently they delay the bans in order to make it harder for the makers of the software to determine what exactly it was that got them detected. Makes it harder for the cheat creators if it’s a guessing game of what was actually detected. It’s total bullshit that they get to finish out matches like this though with such blatant cheats. They got to ruin an entire match with no immediate consequences. Probably ruined more than this though seeing as they got all the way to master 3.

So I actually got curious how much these hacks cost. One website had them for 10 Euros a day, 30 for a week, and 65 for a month. Euros are about $1.07 in US currency. So these people on the bare minimum spend over $10 a day to cheat. And if they don't get caught in a year, that'd be over $700.

While the idea is functional on paper and the sentiment is there, the execution would be impossible. Theres too many factors that would have to weigh in on the decision such as false reports, lack of reports, whether the cheater is duo trio or five stacked, and many other things. The fact that Blizzard anti cheat is so dogshit that it cant even detect rage hacks is a testament to how much they care about the problem. Why would they develop a brand new system that requires the same amount of intricacy as the system they have refused to make functional?

They should add some kind of "vote to draw" in situations like these, like if 7-8 players (or maybe 3+ on each team) agree to the vote then the game just ends as a draw.

Cant because greedy for SR. They ban players associated with cheaters, even if you group up- get into game and quickly disband to hide the fact you're all grouped- you get banned now for being associated from the get go with them. Its just delayed same as their ban. Noone will vote skip or draw, i'd be confident to say even gm1/some part of top 500 wont even vote draw. Unless streamer/well known players on either side or friends on either side etc etc. Which with ranks inflation, is very rare. Theres a reason games are fast queues in ow2. Ladders busted. Plats now gm etc etc. Or just plats, in your top 500 lobby, sometimes open profile to see also. Bruh this "game" is so bad . 2 years late for a new engine to deliver a better sound engine (dogwater compared to ow1- single handed made closed back obsolete compared to open back which you NEED despite ANY EQ / DAC ETCETCETC to name the easy stuff for majority of non sound engineers to understand. Also, for PVE- LULULUL. Also, for a better anti cheat??????? 2 years LATE for this. Literal. Nothing. It does, but they don't get banned when cheats get detected until after the game ends. Supposedly it's so that cheat makers can't tell what aspect of the cheat was what triggered the anti-cheat. It's kind of dumb when the cheating is so obvious, though.

One thing I did enjoy about Overwatch is it had a kill cam, or as Blizzard may want to call it 'Elimination Cam', as apparently 'kill' is too harsh of a word for them. So if a cheater tries to assert they aren't aimbotting, their target literally sees the kill from their perspective.

if it were me i would just half afk (for context i play support) because i have a major guilt complex. i would feel so bad for the other team it wouldnt allow me to play normally. a game like that, win or loss, is pointless to me because i learn or gain nothing when the enemy is playing respawn simulator due to an entitled asshole being so pathetic they have to cheat at a fucking video game in order to have some semblance of self worth. it's just boring at that point. although i have been thinking if i ever get a blatant cheater on my team, i'll just pick lifeweaver to pull them away from the enemy on cooldown lmao it's not much but its something. i'm only in plat so cheaters dont get called out very often here (im sure theres plenty though) and i doubt anyone would want to draw, but i would still offer it where possible

TBH Widowmaker was a big component as to why I quit OW, so many cheaters that were aim botting with her, soldier, and Hanzo, made the game simply unfun to play. Honestly I feel like cheating has gotten to be a really bad problem in the game, and blizzard doesn't seem to care enough to do something about it.
