When I fight against an 80% cool down Janus I find myself in two situations. 1. Dieing everytime I encounter him Or 2. Always having to return to base. There is almost never a third option.

Love how you only need to build like 1 %pen item on janus to basically have capped pen by level 20. it's almost like they know he needs max cdr to be vaguely useful

I always play like this with most mages, but teammates can sometimes get super aggro and die unnecessarily. If they die they will blame the mage who is far behind like this Janus. His positioning was great poke and run is the mage game for awhile. Get them low try to burn active and let the jungler finish them off. Some may hate that passive play style but as you see it works. Poke, evade, farm, and repeat. I like a mage who knows how to play back and position as long as they are also doing damage. Key thing for any mage player who wants to learn how to position well is play like you don't have a tank and no one is going to save you. That's why this Janus played back. It's smart and he didn't have to depend on anyone but himself and if he does have a good teammate that can peel even better. Great game play from Puca

As a Janus main, it comes down to teammates unfortunately. You have only 1 consistent damage being the 2 and it does not have a lot of range so you basically have to risk getting dived to hit it 😅
