well yes, and no. Everyone would have lost without the plays of one of the other members. It definitely was a clutch moment, but most of those fights could have swung either way and were completely 50/50 toss-ups with rng headshots and timings coming in. But yes. If their team mates didn't contribute, they would have lost.

I'm a metal player and I'm from OW1. I know the value heavily bc... man. Goats love the ground. With that said, you are right. They think I'm trying to play Val or Apex... no. This is OW. Zarya on high ground is just powerful as she is on low ground. Especially on attack

As a diamond player, high ground doesn't feel that useful for a tank. I'm a Sigma main, and my playstyle is basically to hold everything that isn't the tank. The only moment I would go for high ground is when the enemy is on it, or if ALL my allies are there

@@Ravitas3 Here's the problem with metal ranks. Many times the correct place to fight is from the high ground, especially on defense. Sigma is a great tank for holding these positions due to his range and shield flexibility. The problem is that if YOU are on the high ground, the rest of the team should go TO THE TANK. Not the other way around. Tank players need to learn good positioning and control, and non tank players need to learn to play around their tank, even if that isn't in the positions they normally play.

honestly this feels like 2 different players the sigma was mid silver at best, decision and skill wise the JQ was very good, plat material the only thing that points to this being the same player is the ult usage, which was lackluster in both instances, but it can be worked on and i think that this dude is good enough to do it

Well both teams did well. Bad at defense good on offense. Thats just about what most of these vods are. The games are usually 20 minutes 4 rounds usually. Try to get a great k.d.r watch positioning high ground and corners help. Use movement abilities to escape to healer or health packs not to ingage in lost battle. Also try to adopt a support style attitude even as tank or dps peeling makes the dream work. No body dying helps every on the team.

Can agree. I'm plat and yesterday we had a teamkill and I asked my team to push the cart as far as possible so I could position myself to throw my dva bomb/eat the Hog ult when he came out of spawn. My entire team refused so I had to drop solo in overtime to jump on and after I had to waste my bomb to remech because I took the full blast of the entire team (my supports were still off in Narnia at this point doing their own thing). They all blamed me for the loss and told me I suck. It's so frustrating to ask your team to do one thing and they just refuse. I didn't ask them to swap at any point. I didn't ask them to do ANYTHING all game. But the one time I ask, they all refuse.

Honestly, I think the best communication you can have with randos online is just environmental call outs. Like if you hack a tracer with pulse and you couldn't kill her. Just tells Kiri "tracer has pulse". Don't asker to hold suzu or anything just kiri decide. Or if a reaper is flanking your supports. Just pin and call "reaper is flanking you [insert hero]". Don't make any plans because people will be angry for "telling them what to do". I'm not saying is right but what can you do.
