I would get the tanchjim origin if it had better ergonomic. It's nozzle is quite chunky + the shell is heavier than most iem (13g each). Quite a shame

I also wanted to ask about the EW300 if you would be able to help. You mentioned it was a direct upgrade to the Klean in one of your videos. I wanted to ask if it presents vocals a bit smoother than the Klean? I like almost everything about the vocal presentation on the Klean for male vocals, but at times I hear a subtle graininess to vocals that can be a little unpleasant. Is the EW300 smoother in that regard?

KZ did come out with the Castor Pro. Curious to hear what you have to say about it being nearly 2x the price of the OG castor. I don't hear that many people talk about the Tanchjim 4U, which is pretty odd seeing how it's probably the only IEM under 100 bucks with tuning switches that actually change the sound. Ziigaat Odyssey was honestly a surprising release. I'm almost used to seeing only collab IEM's from Ziigaat, but seeing them release their own tuned set that's arguably better than the rest of their IEM's was a surprise. Pretty decent round up

I recently got the Aful Explorer. I tip rolled between Spinfit W1s, Tangzu Sancai regulars, Divinus Velvets, Render tips - nope to all of them. It sounded weird and wrong on all those tips. By that i mean it either sounded too dark and boring or extremely thin sounding. And yes, the seal was good among all, still no dice. Then i tried the white silicones it came with. Expected it to sound worse, but damn, it finally sounded right - in line with all the reviews, including yours, Jay. Now it sounded cleaner AND thicker and full and immersive. Source was the Zen DAC v1. What is going on? What tips did you use?

Hi, are there any ultra-expert audiophiles here? I’ve been in this hobby for almost 10 years, but I still haven’t found an IEM under $1,000 with a tuning similar to the Tia Trio. I’m looking for someone who could help me find one or perhaps contact any Chi-fi brand to create a copy. Or is the Tia Trio’s DD technology exclusively developed by 64 Audio?
