To answer your question, school busses are made from pure metal. Mix of aluminum and steel. Their engines are capable of massive torque, and are gigantic. Like, the engine in a bus is almost always taller than an SUV, and about as heavy. What it lacks in speed, it makes up for with power, which is why it plows through everything so easily.

I've found it most effective if you buy the boost, to use it after you run out of fuel. So like once you run out of gas, then you can start using the boost.
