So something that somewhat hidden with Naafiri and stridebreaker is that if you use stridebreaker during the W (whilst youre flying toward the enemy) on landing the enemy will be slowed by 99% for 3 seconds As of 14.21 the stridebreaker interaction got patched out.

The reason Naafiri is unpopular is because despite Riot's goal to make her an easy and simple Assassin to teach you the assassin play style she is deceptively meticulous due to her passive. While she looks cool as hell and makes you actually feel like a pack of wolves, those dogs are a double edge sword with all the specific ways they can mess you up. Unlike other pet champions the dogs flank the champion in formation, and while that means you can "sort of" position them to block skillshots ot means you sont have fine motor control and they can proc traps loke shrooms even if you are careful. In lane so many mid laners can abuse the dogs, like Malzahar proccing poison and it auto jumps to you for free poke. Zilean is the same woth bombs. Tristana can proc her explosive passive off your dogs so she pushes and gets prio while you lose farm potential and prio. Smolder and Asol get stacks like theyre minions. Irelia is the worst match up because you have free ways to let her dash to you and beat your ass. All in all Naafiri has to play keep away eith her dogs meanwhile some AOE spells can wipe your ultimate and youre left with a wasted spell. Naafiri uses multiplicity as a playstyle, think about Xayah and her feathers. But Xayah can interact eith jer feathers by chosing to use them, place them, recall them, and are untargettable to enemies. Naafiri can not interact with her passive beyond ulting, sometimes in lane you have to literally wait for them to spawn. These arent really horrible facets of her design, theyre just really unique specifics and by the time a player learns all this and struggles they might as well play Talon as an easy mid laner who has no such delicate specificities and is more reliable.

Awesome video and yeah Naafiri can definitely be a jungler, but its kinda like Nocturne where you're more used as a more roaming pick champ not so much a fast clear champ. Naafiri is obviously good at just blowing opponents up, and letting her loose in Jungle frees her up to do just that.

You should check out Briar. On the surface she's just an all in machine that either carries or ints. But below the surface there's a huge amount of skill expression in choosing battles and builds, with bruiser, crit, Lethality and even tank all being viable.

Try Opportunity first item - Naafiri has great waveclear with q and e already, so the extra damage from hydra isn't super necessary. Opportunity allows for more roaming potential, still provides a decent chunk of AD and Lethality, and lets you escape bad situations a little easier.

You didn't mention, if you do a little back step during fights, your dogs will go in front of you and therefore also bock skillshots :) without you committing any spells for that purpose ! Think of it as when you try to dodge trynda's slow or cassio's ult, that little step you make to look the other way for a second, if you do it with naafiri the doggies will move in front of you because they're always trying to be behind you when walking, hence protecting you from incoming skillshots :)!

One thing you didn't mention but really turned me off on this champion is that a lot of your damage is tied to your second Q. However there is a fixed cooldown before you can cast it. If you Q1 right after your W, you will not be able to cast Q2 immediately. By the time you have done your E the opponent can react with whatever mobility they have and you miss Q2 and the kill.

Tricks For Naafiri Jg to clear faster 1. Smite sooner cuz QQ do more damage base on missing health 2. Leave the camp sooner than usual and let your dog finish the camp or throw the second Q to finish the camp, your dog will keep attacking camp for 3 sec so just throw Q while you leave to extend that. 3. If you plan to full clear (and you should) don't level up W until level 4 just Put 2 point in Q and 1 in E for most damage output since W deal less damage and have way too long cool down 4.Use E to hop over the wall for shortcut or if you E is not available you can throw Q to camp and your dog will pounce to them and provide vision and you can W to camp for shortcut as well she is capable of jg role it just a bit tricky to do first full clear. Ton of Healing, Mobility to move over the wall, Point and click gap closer, Ult that provide vision for objective stealing. Your dog to tank hit for you. Nah bro don't tell me that doesn't sound like amazing kit for assasin jg

She's too telegraphed, in higher mmr you just end up having your dash blocked by the support/tank and dying for nothing. In lane she can be decent as a counter pick but she also struggles against passive play, since she can't poke without shoving the wave and her Q 2 makes up a lot of her damage.

But theres a bug abusing "mechanic" that i dont believe was patched with Naafiri, Stridebreaker is actually in the bruiser build because Naafiri w applies 99% slow for like half a second, but using Stridebreaker after Naafiri w makes the 99% slow last as long as the Stridebreaker slow (so 99% slow for 2 or 3 seconds idk the exact duration of Stridebreaker slow)

First of all this is a nocturne reskin, not a new champion and he is a design dumpsterfire so why we made 2 is beyond me.
