FINALLY. A NEW VIDEO. Sorry this took so long! It was an absolute beast of a video to edit with over 5TB of assets including 300 hours of video split over 953 clips + 1,636 voice recordings + 118,051 images making up over 170 test sequences and progress pictures + a whole bunch of motion graphics that I made from scratch. It was originally around 47 minutes but I cut majority out because BORING. 
Anyway now that this is out of the way I can finally start putting out some garbage quality videos that don’t take an entire month to edit yay!!

I'm actually quite surprised to see content revolving around 3D software and game development software on this channel. As long as I can remember, this channel has focused on music production, so I'm surprised but greatly welcoming of this style of content! It's been a few years since I last watched this channel as I began to move away from mainly focusing on music production to focusing on game development, software-based artwork and 3D modeling/rendering/programming, so I'm quite happy to see one of my old favorite channels going down a similar path!

I can't say for certain but you might maybe be able to just mask out the tree arch ring door portal then move the mask to reveal what it looks like. conceptually, its like you would be moving an object in front of it, but the object is transparent for everything else in the scene except from the ring-portal, which it blocks. so you would be revealing the ring-portal using blocks that are moving? I think this would allow you to have a 'static' mesh that doesn't do anything, and therefore take up no space or processing power, except for the texture and location information, and then animate it as if it was growing just by using multiple moving blocks, that are transparent/see through but don't let the audience see the ring-portal. the audience then see's the trees parts as if they are growing but what is actually happening is that a block is moving out of the way, revealing the tree-ring-portal.
