Not to be overly critical but I feel like a lot of people could climb fairly high if they had a mercy pocket, that being said your aim is S tier.

Strongly disagree here. You have to be an exceptional player to compensate for the lack of heals on the team. If your tank is getting poked hard/out of position the lack of a second support can ruin everything. People are used to getting away with bad plays, with mercy pocket you kinda don't have that. Mercy herself is a B tier character and not being played in any scrims or pro matches. Very squishy, has to rely on being close to heal. I would say that I would have more success with ana or kiri for example.

as a GM player I feel I need to come in and complete agree with you mercy pocket a carry can basically win you games in any rank no matter what. sure if you are bronze in diamond then yeah its not going to workout. but a diamond player with mercy pocket becomes a GM. also in higher tiers people play cover and actually know that they won't get healed as much due to the mercy pocket duo doing their own thing.

@@LSHFT_Eido Absolutely correct here. The problem with mercy pocket is very counterintuitive where your tank is suffering as you can't effectively heal him from the distance making him an easier target. But as you've said mercy pocket, especially a good one is a blessing

@@wrath5332 Absolutely not. In a 5v5 scenario you can get healed to max hp in a second, and the higher you climb in ranks the better supports will be with their positions. I think if you play well and don't overcommit you will be fine.

Glad you liked it! Hitscan characters are def my favourite, but I can't play them for a long periods of time simply because of how mentally draining they are. Sometimes I wish that I would be a Torbjorn and would just place a turret and pretend that I'm useful🤣

For me transitioning into liking support I played a lot of bap and zen bc they basically feel like dps. I just suggest that because if I remember correctly you said you Weren’t the biggest fan of playing supports I’m comparison to the other roles

You have to understand that when you are getting pocketed thé other des can rarely do great cause thé second support is focused on healing the tank so hes not gonna have à graat game if ur merci or whatever is always with you like in this case

That's why I explained that you need ana or kiriko to keep the tank alive. There is a concept where if you deal damage to enemies they can't deal damage to your team. Essentially I'm healing my tank by quickly killing opponents and release pressure

Soldier can be an exceptional hero if you have exceptional aim. But the same can be said if you have mediocre aim. I know thats literally a skill issue but there are alot of heroes with abilities that get value regardless of skill; soldier doesn't have that.
