I actually really like the AI for the tames, the fact they move around and find openings during fights is a really nice touch especially with how the grasshopper will jump away to avoid being hit and then run right back and fight

The time-lapse aspect plus your commentary based off the challenges and progress you came across during this game made it much more intriguing than it already was; like watching a short film

There have been several fantastic updates to this game. It would be nice to see another 100 day playthrough! Edit: At about 36 minutes - I commend you for going as far as you did fighting bosses on your own. I got a nocturnal grasshopper, gecko and wolf spider and used them to defeat most everything. The gecko was extremely powerful and I used it until I replaced it with a scorpion. I am on console though, and I didn't start playing until very recently so there's been several updates since your playthrough 9 months ago. I'm very much enjoying watching your journey! Looks as though the main updates would be in taming which now uses singular baits per each respective level of trap, I believe there's 4 of them. Also you can have up to 4 tames in your party or whatever number equates to 100 points - the higher level of creature, the higher the points, the fewer tames in your party. Also certain creatures can be commanded to attack certain resource producing higher yields. Awesome playthrough!

Im not seeing any mention of valheim in the comments... This game is either made by the same people or almost completely inspired by the makers of valheim. Gamewise... The aesthetic is grounded. But the gameplay and structure is crazy familiar to a valheim player! Everything about it: well lit atmospheric low-poly graphics, character movement and physics, position and composition of menus and HUD bars, crafting, survival everything... And im not criticising btw, valheim is my favourite game of all time. Im buying this for sure. But since no one here seems yo know about valheim you should all look it up. Its this. But instead of a grounded/insect world theme. Its a norse viking theme. You live in valheim, like valhala its an afterlife for fallen warriors.

If I had to point out the positives of one over the other (having only seen this video for small world) It would be that valheims building and exploration / survival roleplay is way better. But small world's interactable NPCs and unique locations look much better than what can be found in valheim. (Wich is much more randomly generated biome based map) And for this reason I assume small world's story will be much more complete and satisfying in terms of 'finishing' the game.

I, too, changed my settings to be able to just fast travel back to base, but I also turned the creatures to be peaceful because my goodness, I couldn't do or go anywhere without getting surrounded by everything 🤦‍♀️ it eventually became way too annoying so I just changed the settings lol
