The "timber" you're making looks like dimensional lumber. Timber is the raw logs that still look like trees, lumber is the sawn up 2x4's and such. Had to point it out. Love your vids by the way.

Every time I try mediviel overhaul I realize that dark forest has to much wood for me to enjoy playing on if I'm playing a real game. By winter I have so much wood I can't even burn it all. It makes the map impossible to see and the wealth is absurd.

I'm surprised you only had 1 Awakened Schrat. I had to stop playing on Dark Forest maps because forest fires were spawning like 5 at a time and just destroying everything on the map.

Is there a difference between standard settings and changing the threat scaling to 500% or losing is fun settings and changing the scaling to 500%? I genuinely don't know but I did notice that the difficulty is always defaulted at standard when clicking custom even if you clicked losing is fun previously. I know it's just a few minor tweaks but is that really impactful?

@Roberto junior Farina if that's the case and judging what we see in the video, Veequeue is lying that he's playing on the hardest difficulty. I know this because losing is fun starts on 300% and not 100% which the slider shows. However this could just be footage to add drama and not his actual settings

It's a shame the Extreme UV sensitivity is a bit of a joke as vamp colonists will have no problem walking outside in broad day light and fry. I could see how it may be done with complex zoning (god forbid they get a mental break), or maybe an army of helpers. Maybe having them not get downed(causing them to collapse instantly and burn without help). Or, since the game considers a fully lit room 50% lit, and outside "brightly lit" at 100% lit, a progressive hediff that goes from initial to extreme starting at 51% lit. Or a mild "panic" mental break once exposed to sun that would force the pawn into the closest
