This is kinda nostalgic. Reminds me of when Minecraft used to actually have snow worlds (before they added biomes). My sister and I would keep creating and deleting worlds until we would get a snow world, because they were rare and therefore special. 😅

Pro tip: if you light a villager on fire itll run to the nearest open water source, so if they are close but not in your villager breeder place some water inside and then ignite the human! It’s both practical and enjoyable :)

Because diamonds can be easy to spot in huge caves mojang made the diomand ores that are exposed to air generate in smaller blobs. If you stripmine, you will find diamonds less frequently but in bigger amounts

Small tip: Smelt the chain mail/ iron -stuff in a furnace, you'll get nuggets, which you can craft to ingots. Those are tradeable.

About slabs ; Since slabs can be waterlogged, they dont have to be raised above the water to stop them freezing! You can place a slab in water and it still counts as a water source :] Done that many a time on pathways with a farm on the side to keep things watered / Also works for trapdoors! Personally use mangrove-dark-spruce since they look best waterlogged me thinks

Even with the small vains of diamonds, there still really easy to find and it doesn't take long for them to add up. Me and my fiance started a new world and already have 20 blocks of diamonds and half a stack of just regular. Definitely helps if you get a good fortune pick lol

A small tip for growing those large spruce trees is to place 4 dirt blocks on the floor and place thre saplings there, it grows a lot faster :)

ok, so here's a challenge for you, try this in a "buffet, floating island badlands" world, (this might only work in 1.16) I'm playing that kind of world and it's very hard as one of the only ways to get wood it to find an abandoned mineshaft. but keep in mind you're on floating islands above the void, it's possible but very hard, There is a stronghold so it is possible to beat the dragon.

Pro tip: If you place down a warped mushroom while getting chased by hoglin they will run away and won’t attack you. If you always keep them on you and always wear gold armour the crimson forests are really easy to traverse. Like so Joel sees this he won’t last long without it

I think that diamonds spawn in larger clusters when not exposed to air meaning they are covered in stone so you have to mine them out

I always put unwanted iron/chainmail armour trades into an automatically fed furnace. Iron nuggets are better than nothing. Same with any flammable weapons or tools, they make reasonable fuel. 🤷🏻♂️

Hey Joel! A tip for villagers is to use a piston to push them up blocks and use water to herd them in confined areas :) hope that helps
