As someone who has thousands of hours on this map here's a bit of advice. Get an otter cause then you're completely unaffected by the cold (there are multiple places on the map to find them). The penguins are down the river around the Wyvern trench area. last thing is if you want metal there's an entire area where you can load up on metal over by the passageway with the insect swarms.

If you’re having trouble with hide, try using the theris bite attack. That usually collect a lot more hide than the claw attack.

@@NormalMuslim7 you should have a crossbow or better before you tame one, look at dododex to see how much it needs You should also have a trap and have a ptera to lead it into the trap It can break anything weaker than metal but it's pretty expensive eo you should try knock it out quick with 4 foundations and 3 walls high stone doorframes Try knock it out at a safe distance and set your dino to passive you you can escape on it if it breaks the trap oh, and.. *take a lot of narcotics*

I have yet to watch the video yet so I could just be giving out info that’s already been applied lol, but if you were having trouble with leveling and not enough high levels spawning use the better spawn mod, this allows dinosaurs to spawn at a higher level more frequently similar to Ragnaroks spawn rate. Again sorry if this issue was already solved
