Great tip for any new pixelmon or hell even pokemon fans, Breloom is hands down one of if not the best pokemon catching pokemon. to add some context breloom can learn 2 moves that are key to make catching pokemon infintely easier namely false swipe and spore add in with the right ability poison heal and a toxic orb he also has a very strong passive heal. Now a short guide to make this work 1.get your self a false swipe tm, toxic orb and a shroomish with poison heal as its ability, bonus if you can also get one with decent ivs and evs for rather hp defence physical attack or speed is also decent but not needed sense your breloom will likely be max level when trying to complete the dex pretty much making him outspeed most pokemon that dont have insane base speed. 2.Level your shroomish to level 42 or 40 cant remember which, for spore and absolutely do not evolve him till he gets spore sense its the crux of his kit. 3.evolve him to a breloom and teach him the false swipe tm and for bonus survivability you can teach him giga drain for healing off trash pokemon. At this point you will have a shroomish that can drop pokemons hp to 1 (without risk of killing them) that can self heal passively and with proper evs take a hit and make false swipe less weak as well as put pokemon to sleep 100% of the time. Spore will also keep any more dangerous pokemon from being able to inflict any major damage to your breloom. Keep in mind he does not work well for ghost types sense they are immune to normal attacks but you can still use breloom to sleep ghost pokemon and have a pokemon use odor sleuth to make ghosts effected by normal attacks and just swap back to your shroomish to use false swipe or have a 2nd pokemon with odor sleuth and false swipe purely for ghosts. Breloom as a mainstay in my party for any pokemon game and pixelmon purely do to the insane utility he could bring for catching pokemon if raised right and can even make a fairly solid grass pokemon with a suprisingly versitile move list.

@@galaxyminer694 the prior version before the apricorn change. Smeargle is even better but takes way more effort to train new skill. But when handled properly a smeargle can learn false swipe soak spore and taunt. Soak changes type so grass types can be put to sleep with spore and taunt stops self destructive moves and abilities for 2 or 3 turns. Oh and soak also makes ghosts hittable with false swipe

15:02 how long did it take you to catch that dreepy? it took me about 5 hours. i was on multiplayer since my friend was helping me and this dude going at mach 5 catching every pokemon, including a dreepy after 2 hours (i saw it but they were to fast and got to it first). i got another encounter an hour later (level 26) and my opening pokemon was 48... i made the mistake of misclicking the bag and using a move. oops. after 1 hour i encountered one and then ran out of pokeballs... i learned from my mistakes and an hour later i got some dusk balls and caught it. all i wanted was dragapult and draco meteor...
