In today's video, I Spent 100 Days in No Man's Sky... Here's What Happened. No man's sky is an open-world PVE game with an infinite universe to explore. In no man's sky, you are able to create bases, farm, buy your own spaceship, and explore the universe. With many unique planets, there are a lot of things to do. You can also create farms, complete bounties and do quests. This game is enormous, so there is no way I will be able to do everything, but I will try to get as far as I can in 100 days. If you enjoy today's video make sure you like and subscribe.

@@tylerscully701 There's not really an 'end', but there are several 'ends' you can reach. You can max out all the achievements, finish the main lore storylines (which I assume is what most people mean by 'end' - at least that's the main definition I would go for), or you can try to get to the very last galaxy (the 255th) if you like travelling. So I assume what people mean by 'end game' is probably usually something like "having a lot of achievements, having most recipes unlocked and having pretty much finished the main story elements" or something like that

I’ve been rocking with this game from the beginning. I’m a Stan for any and everything space. When this game was released it was like a dream come true. Very rocky start, but I knew from the get go the devs were passionate and would fix their mistakes. What I didn’t know was that theyd still be dropping updates 6 years later and counting. To me, it’s the most relaxing game to just get lost in.

I really appreciate the video, it was fun to watch someone's first 100 days. I did note a few things, which you probably know most, if not all of these by now but I wanted to share incase you might be missing some of these tips. If you've built a farm you no longer need, you can delete the buildings for full reclaim value; so the radon farm collectors could be moved 1:1 to another farm type. Also noticed that you were collecting minerals from rocks that were not scanned . . . it came to my attention that scanned resources produce higher yield. The 'S' Silver node could be incredibly valuable for farming nanites as silver & gold make platinum . . .and platinum / silver / gold make nanites.

Bought this game on discount after it was torched for being “unfinished” from Walmart for $20 in 2017. It was a little janky when warping and would crash occasionally but I had a blast playing this game. Even when it got somewhat repetitive, It kept me because of the uniqueness of each planet. Beat the game and waited for the updates. Updated about 3 yes ago, transferred my game and proceeded to blow myself up twice as the button layout had changed and lost all of my inventory. Haven’t played since but this video made me want to go back and beat the updated version. Cheers Bruv!!

The co-op is also broken because memory share is not good when building bases together. It also makes NO sense not being able to sell your upgraded S-Class friggin' fridgets, but you CAN sell ships. Go figure?? It's a good game but the Devs really have no idea what it is meant to be.

You can buy a module that turns your wires invisible. Also, you use your scanner to locate an electricity hotspot (same as you use to find gas hotspots, just cycle through). This way you can essentially power your base without solar panel/battery farms. A radiation or toxic resistance module? You need both. As well as heat and cold resistance ones. Also, scan everything you are farming. It gives you a secondary resource that you can either sell or keep. Get a scanner upgrade module and you’ll earn hundreds of thousands of units for scanning single flora/fauna/minerals.

I have gotten stuck on the Artemis path after I say hi to everyone in the Anomaly. I built an outpost in the most dreaded heatwave + radiation + extreme cold at night planet that you could possibly find. I have no idea what I'm doing. I found mods for my Multi-Tool scanner that placed in the overcharge slots give me 150-750k when I scan animals, I will possibly become a billionaire out of thin air if I just keep exploring. And oh, did I mention I'm lost and have no idea what I'm doing? God damn loving it though.

Afaik activated indium mines are still the best way to make units after stasis devices (which are very very hard to make a farm for). You just need to put like 4-6 extractors together and connect them to each other and some storage units. Then repeat again and again, always with enough space between the extractors and don't connect them to each other. If you build 8 extractors the way you did (all connected to each other), you end up with like 2500/hr but if you space it out, both couples of extractors get 2500/hr. Also at some point it'll be more efficient to build platforms in the sky above the spots with a high mineral density.

This is my opinion but I feel like we should be able to see your scanner on the side of your leg and your multi tool in like a gun holster on the other side of your leg and you could turn it on or off so if you wanted to make it more realistic if you wanted to. And I feel like the animation needs a bit of an upgrade as well. the running animation, climbing animation, swimming animation etc

Batteries are pretty nice/easy - just connect all your panels to a battery and then that battery to other batteries, then connect all your machinery to a hub battery - it all acts as a power grid and if you have enough batteries to enough power generators or panels, itll stay online 100%; took a lot of time to min/max but I built my bases with teleporters from ground level to the operational level, and had all the ugly stuff(batteries/extractors etc) on levels in between with flight decks on top xD Also super cool to build a portal and a ton of storage containers in your base for ez teleporting/dumping. As far as your translator, you'll learn snippets of languages along the way including stuff that may help shed some light on the stuff you've encountered but didnt understand and those will start to appear in english as you learn more of the language. You probably know all that by now, but worth mention.

if you do a part two on this, don't connect things straight to solar panels. If you wire solar panels to batteries, it will collect all the power and only start to lose it at night. Also my favorite way to make money is by scrapping ships in the space station and you'll collect parts which can be worth a lot depending on the ships class

In case you haven't done it and the game interests you (and since sandbox games are good for this video format), considering making a video of Kenshi. With persistence, you can go from a fumbling nobody who dies to hungry bandits to someone capable of soloing well-armed city guards. It's a very interesting game, although I could never play it without save scumming because of how easy it is to die (you basically have to have one person on standby to heal up your other teammates otherwise there's a good chance any non-blunt damage will put you into a recovery coma with decaying health, meaning you just lay there and die over a long period of time), but it's a very fun game.

During the day, connect an asston of solar panels to a bunch of batteries, run one wire through all your batteries and after they have a good charge. Slowly attach whatever to one battery. You can check the batteries menu and it will show you exactly how much using and charging at once. Trust me I was confused for a while too

i usually dont understand anything when watching 100 days of 'game' but being an nms veteran it seemed so fun watching a newbie fumble around cluelessly trying to make an oxygen farm from RADON 😂😂 and unable to spell cadmuim or emril 😂😂😂💀

About the economy, it's pretty straightforward really. Each system has an economy level (1-3), which the more it is, the more items you'll be able to buy from the station, a buy and sell % which are self explanatory, and multiple types of systems, for example Mining, Science and more. Without ruining a lot about it, you can find systems that need a specific resource that can be only found in another specific system (for example Dirt can be only found in Mining Systems in which you can buy dirt cheap(ha ha get it?), and is needed in Manufacturing Systems which will buy them from you at a much higher price). There's a way you can exploit the market by "crashing it". Basically you sell a shitton of a specific item (I'd go for cobalt since it's available everywhere and it's cheap to start with, and we're talking about 50k or 100k items to start with). That way the value of the item will be basically 0, and you can rebuy the cobalt for practically nothing. This can only be done once per system ( I think not sure if the economy recovers eventually, but take it to consideration), but considering you have basically an infinite amount of systems you should be fine. Finally, you can always dupe high value items and sell them. But that's cheesing it too much so not recommended😂😂

It's like Minecraft in that sense. Both are limitless in exploration and creation, have more interactions than I have cells, but next to no story. I kinda like it that way.

One thing confusing about this video, is that you give the impression that it’s your first time playing, and at the same time you give some details that not everyone just started the game would know.

I had an activated indium farm when it was good and maxed out my units at the time. So mad when I came back to find out the nerfed it. Took a long time set it all up. I haven't been back there in over a year real time. Deconstructing it makes me feel sick lol so I haven't done it...yet.

Just leave it. You probably don’t need the resources. Just open it up in case new comers find it and can take the resources.
