Honestly Sean, you don’t give yourself enough credit. Your builds look pretty nice most of the time. I mean yeah that castle was unfinished, but with a little more build time I think you definitely would have made it look neat. To be honest I think your problem is more that you don’t like building for long periods of time instead of being a bad builder. Your builds are relatively simple but still really good, they just sometimes need more time put into them. Hope you keep on building and improving in these videos. Though you can travel the over world faster in the nether which can be very useful!

About the nether portal: 1 block in the nether equals 8 blocks to the overworld so if the ocean you crossed was like 400 blocks then in the nether you would be 50 blocks away from your original portal thats why you were so close to the oter portal. Also the structure that you found at the start is called a bastion and the piglins with the axes do like 6 hearts with iron armor so definitely try to avoid them, if you want to kill them without aggravating the other piglins you can use lava. Some information about the nether: -Piglins are the pig-men creatures that are mostly found in bastions. The reason why they weren’t attacking you on sight is because you were wearing at least 1 piece of gold armor - your golden chest plate. If you don’t have any gold armor on, they will be hostile towards you. You can still barter gold with them even if they’re hostile towards you by right clicking on them with the gold in your hand. The black-shirt ones are called, “brutes” and will always attack you regardless of whether or not you’re wearing gold armor. Brutes will not barter with you. Even if you have gold armor on, piglins will turn hostile on you if they see you mining gold or opening chests. They didn’t attack you when you mined their gold because they didn’t see you doing it. -the boots that made you go super fast had an enchantment on them called, “soul speed” which allows you to move super quickly on soul sand. -in the overworld, if you put a saddle on a pig, you need a carrot on a stick (fishing rod + carrot) to control where the pig moves while you’re riding it. Striders are the “lava creatures” that you put a saddle on. Like with the pig, you need a special item on a fishing rod to control where it goes exactly how you would with a pig and a saddle. For the strider, you a warped fungus on a stick. You need a warped fungus - a cyan and orange mushroom found in the nether - and a fishing rod.

I've been watching this channel for a while now and I thought maybe a few tips could help Sean? I just wanna help out is all! The creature you tried riding is called a Strider and can be ridden like a pig, with saddle and a fishing rod with its preferred food. Striders will follow in whichever direction you face as long as you make a "warped fungus on a stick." Items required; warped fungus and a fishing rod You can find warped fungus in Warped Forests and Crimson Forests which are the two biomes in the Nether that look like red and blue forests. Once there look around for a mushroom of either blue or red coloring and you are able to make the item! I know this is drawn out long but I still hope it's useful! I will try my best to help out in future videos with tips and tricks according to Sean's actions.

Tip: make sure to check ALL compartments on the shipwreck. That one most likely had a treasure map, and buried treasure often has diamonds and iron in them, not to mention food and heart of the sea. Very good stuff. 👍🏻

This is an awesome idea, before even watching I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite 100 day videos! Edit: I'd love to see "I spent 100 days in a futuristic Minecraft world," there are most likely some mods that can make this happen and I think it would be really entertaining. :P

I didn't think this one would be very interesting because it is just Minecraft with a simple texture pack, but no matter what survival you do, you still make it really interesting. I have loved every survival video you make despite my doubts, and I liked this one too!

As a builder, here are some tips I find useful: 1. Don't make a whole wall a window, it looks bad no matter what. Especially when you such a low house (yes, 4 blocks is considered low) 2. Square rooms look good, but try working more with different shapes. You can find easy to use circle guides online! Castle towers for one will look a lot better "round" 3. Having a nice worked out block pallet before a build is always nice to have. Since I see a lot of stone coming back in your video's, one of my favourites is: stone, cobble stone, andesite. You can also oak wood or spruce to that pallet 4. Roofs don't always just have the stairs that connect. You can also use full blocks. Like logs! Or you can do a trim with spruce/dark oak wood stairs/slabs and fill the roof with grass or moss for a nature look. 5. For small windows you can also add a upside stair, slab or grass under the window on the outside. If you use dirt/grass you can add trapdoors around it to make it a little plant box. 6. When adding log pillars, try to replace the bottom log with a composter or barrel to give this slight difference. I hope these tips help! I can't wait for the next video. You make them great as always

I know how you feel when it comes to building. I think the problem is overthinking it. You see so many amazing builds online and in other videos so you try to replicate them but the thing is most of these builders probably build these things in creative mode before hand actually putting them in survival.

42:55 I was so sure you'd die there. Also. Building is so stressful. It's the typical cycle of trying to build a fortress/castle, and then giving up and trying to build a "water house" and then just getting stressed out and settling.

Finally! A youtuber with a brain. I'm relieved to hear that polls mean nothing. It is what people want to see, not what is really better. I'm currently playing with my friend and we are on day 80 in a snowy village and everything around is frozen. For now the closest non-frozen biome that I know of is more than 2 km away.

Building tips: trapdoors for thin walls, stairs and walls surrounding windows, smaller is usually better, and always have your logs a block out from the walls.

Hey just wanted to say, of you want to travel far with portals you have to make them in the nether not the over world, because walking 1 block in the nether is equivalent to traveling 8 blocks in the over world.
@Dingo_Winterwolf2 жыл бұрын
Hey my man, one of your big complaints you've made the last few videos is that you've been building bases way bigger than you need them to be. Try building something smaller. Heck, an 10x8 house is plenty big for a single man. My go to is a simple cobble house edged with logs, rooms 3 blocks high. I usually put storage in the attic. At any rate, you've been getting better at the game! Keep it up! We believe in you!

33:52 traveling one block in the nether actually equates to traveling eight blocks in the overworld. So that’s why you felt like you were traveling for a very long time there only to end up near your first portal

Almost at 5 million my mans. Been watching since you were at a half million. Can’t believe I’m just subscribing now. I just binge watched a bunch of your old content. Love that you never sold out and you’re the same dude. Always entertaining. Not many mans can pull off hour plus long vids that are entertaining till the very end. Only way you could make it better is if you made more! Lol I know you actually put time into each one though. So quality over quantity for sure. It’s sad when creators just start to push out garbage and they totally lose out on quality. I’ve seen so many gamers fall off over the years. Idk what happens to them it’s like once the money starts rolling in it gets to their heads and they stop caring about the community. And it’s clear you actually put a lot of effort into keeping everyone entertained and I know I can say for a lot of people, especially people like me who’ve been watching for years, we all appreciate it my man. I’m a huge fan and love to support in any way. Today is gonna be day one of me reaching out. I’m gonna comment on every video till you reply. See how long it takes for you to interact. I have high hopes don’t let me down lol

A new kind of 100 days you could do is something with the Dragon Survival mod! You get to be a Dragon, so it would be neat to see you do a survival for 100 days as one. Honestly depending on the Dragon you pick, could be a whole another type of Survival gameplay.

Tip number one: wild spawn passive mobs need to walk 16 blocks in one direction to de-spawn, wild hostile mobs de-spawn once out of render distance To keep them from de-spawning you can use a name tag or use a dropper to force the mob to equip an item making then never de-spawn
