A few tips you can use for both singleplayer and multiplayer future playthroughs (wall of text warning): - Critical hits, or crits occur when you hit something with a melee attack while falling, dealing an extra 50% damage rounded down (e.g a diamond sword deals 7 damage, but increases to 10 damage if you land a crit). You can tell whether a hit is a crit by the white x-shaped particle effects that appear (they look similar to an arrow's trail). An easy way to crit is to jump, wait a little, then swing as you fall (the timing may need practice to get right). These can be difficult to land in PvP because of shields (though they are great for ambushes), but are free damage in PvE. - If the golden rule of Minecraft is to never dig straight down, the silver rule should be to always have a water bucket in your hotbar. In order of how often I tend to use one for, they can negate fall damage (while falling, grab your bucket, look straight down, and spam right click), let you climb walls (hold W while facing a wall, place water on wall, hold spacebar, collect water, flick mouse up and place water above you), put out fire and lava, and slow down pursuers. - I remember you expressing confusion at how to make obsidian in one video (the parasites one, I think). If you still don't know, obsidian forms when flowing water (not the source block) comes in contact with a lava source block (not flowing lava). Flowing lava meeting water source blocks create stone, and flowing water meeting flowing lava creates cobblestone. - I see you using the saber a lot of the time. While it does do good damage against enemies without chest armour, and by extension most mobs, it deals less damage than a simple iron sword against players that do. Because of how armour works in 1.9 combat (higher damage means lower damage reduction), axes and battle hammers are better options than the saber. Polearms universally have a range bonus (though it may be unwieldy due to the fact that the strong attack indicator doesn't show up at maximum range), which makes them pretty potent (especially for spam-clicking for knockback, I'd assume), but remember that you don't attack nearly as fast with something in your offhand (i.e a shield). - Speaking of shields, there are several ways to bypass one. If an axe hits a raised shield, there's a 25% chance to disable the shield for 5 seconds (which can feel like an eternity in combat). This chance increases to 100% if you hit them while sprinting. I haven't tested this, but halberds probably work the same. - A fast way to kill someone is using splash potions. If, in a PvP situation, like this manhunt, you have the fortune to brew and get to the nether, a pair of harming II splash potions is something that you should get immediately. Brewing a water bottle with nether wart makes an awkward potion. Brewing a spider eye with the awkward potion creates a poison potion. Brewing a fermented spider eye (crafted with a spider eye, sugar, and a brown mushroom) with the poison potion makes a harming potion. Brewing gunpowder with the harming potion makes a harming splash potion. Finally, brewing glowstone dust with the harming splash potion makes a harming II splash potion (the last two steps may be reversed). These things do 12 damage in an area, IGNORING ARMOUR AND SHIELDS. Two of them kill a player regardless of their gear (provided they don't have the protection enchantment, which does reduce its damage). - For PvE, notably against zombies, crowds tend to be a problem. I see you using sabers and flanged maces here, and while they do good damage against one target, they suffer against multiple. The greatsword solves this issue. Its sweep means you can hit multiple enemies at once for practically full damage (I know the saber also has sweep, but it deals a lot less damage a lot less). Do note that you can't sweep on a crit. Also strategies if you do this again: - TNT minecarts, when set up properly, explode instantly. You may want to look online for some tutorials on how to make traps with them and test them out. - If your target is making a platform or bridge high above the ground, don't bother with knockback arrows; get TNT arrows and shoot the ground out from under them. It requires less accuracy for the same effect. Just keep in mind that fall damage is a lot less potent if your opponent knows how to use water buckets. - Heavy crossbows are insane. A diamond crossbow loaded with a diamond bolt two-shots a player with unenchanted diamond armour (at least, it two-shots a husk with that, and husks have the same HP as players). For this trick, get two diamond crossbows and load them both with diamond bolts. Make sure they're both easily accessible (either in easy-to-reach hotbar slots or with one in your offhand). Find a place to ambush your target. When you get a clear shot, aim, fire fire, switch to the other crossbow, and aim and fire again. If timed correctly, the second bolt hits as the target recovers from the knockback, giving them no chance to recover. - To make the previous trick even stronger, use invisibility potions. From an awkward potion, add a golden carrot to get a night vision potion. Add a fermented spider eye to the night vision potion to make an invisibility potion. If you wish, add redstone to extend it. You are forced to have an empty slot in your hotbar, wear no armour, and constantly crouch to be truly invisible, and the effect only lasts 3 minutes (8 if extended), but it allows you to get dangerously close to your target, giving you practically no chance to miss.

Some strats: Use a trapped chest: Replace one of his chest with a trapped chest and place in the contents of his original chest. A trapped chest needs to be opened twice to activate it fully. Bury some tnt under the chest. And make a deeeep pit with lava on the bottom to ensure he dies. Before using the trapped chest, you can use a tripwire too to surprise him. When getting resources, the best way for me is to speedrun minecraft in the first few days and search for a end ship and stuff. Get elytra, stuff. For PVP, you can use thorns on your armour, splash potions, maybe some fire charges you can find in nether loot. Personally some strats I use if someone killed my dog or griefed my base in a minecraft server. God had to of create time; and time has a beginning, middle, and end. So God has no beginning as time doesn't apply to him before he created it. Please just believe God exists that is all I ask. What created the universe? This wouldn't apply to God as God teaches it always existed and God created time so God had no beginning. God teaches for every difficulty he honors the person in the next life adequately. And every person suffering would actually prefer to suffer for what they get in the next life. Would you suffer from starvation for 5 years for a million dollars? Please read below. These points really proved a God could exist to us and the point of this message isn't to convert you but just show how a God exists and get you to believe it could and not worship it. Shaun, you can't kill someone with 1 block of tnt... You need to make a tnt minecart trap. It requires a lot more careful placement and setup but it can 1-hit netherite... If I were you in one of these manhunts I'd just work towards making tnt as my top priority then booby trap everywhere. You won't have to fight them and it could even kill them in netherite.

While I do agree with the other two comments…if they made tnt more difficult to craft or only available after a certain point in the video it could still work even if they both knew how to effectively make & deploy such a trap. Which I’m not sure Shaun could do so without first practicing the method off camera using very clear & detailed instructions. Since his knowledge of vanilla MineCraft & grasp of its mechanics is limited. He *IS* learning/improving! But since he doesn’t really ever play pure vanilla MineCraft but instead mostly mod packs with the sole goal of surviving 100dys…he rarely has any necessity or reason to use many game aspects used by vanilla or even modded players with goals beyond simply surviving. Which I think his lack of knowledge is actually one reason people love his videos so much. I know it’s one of the many reasons I do.
@Altair1243WAR2 жыл бұрын
"Content" isn't farming a video to be as long as possible due to repeatedly making suicide runs with a low chamce of success, which is what he just ended up doing. Even just 10 minutes can be content, if it's genuine I'm not saying go uber try-hard & murder him on day 1, but a lot of time was spent doing effectively nothing
