Short legs say lego higher up in the inside of the leg not in that first step area that you showed where the normal legs say it i bought a lot and i was not aware of this and I tossed several of them before i realized this i was wondering why there would be so many fake short legs then i got them into better light and found the markings so your ewoks are probably legit

I just got back from a trip to my value village and I’m so disappointed they had the set 75199-1’s box for 9.99 cad but when I opened it it was only parts of the set and some random lego city set without general Greivous or Mace Windu

Those ewoks aren't fake. I have some old brown short legs and tan without any logos in the legs.
