This game is kind of like the good ol’ Sonic adventure era in terms of playable characters. Specifically SA2. Sonic and Amy are clones of each other. Tails and Cream are clones. And Knuckles and Rouge are clones. Since the update that added him came during his year, Shadow is the sole exception with abilities and a play style exclusive to him.

Oh you should know something, whatever character you play as in the boss level they have different dialogues, so if you have Amy on the crab boss she has dialogue on that too you should try it on all the characters

I don't have an iPhone and refuse to buy one (I used to have an iPod Touch so am familiar) but from what I have seen from this game and comparing it to older Sonic mobile games, Hardlight REALLY showed they can make something great if they are given the time and money. This seems WAY higher quality than previous mobile titles.

But it's still likely that at least sage will reappear She was significant story wise, well received, and didn't have a storyline that made her character one note like silver or ariem (Silver because time travel isn't easy to integrate casually into a story, and Ariem because her storyline exists in a game that's exclusive to iPhone and likely won't even be touched by the main games or even side ones)
