Black Knight is objectively not that good of a game, but hell if it isn’t cool as shit. The music slaps, the aesthetic and visuals are amazing… I just wish this game would get a sequel or major reboot/remake, because there is so much potential with this idea. Also I feel obligated to mention how much of a crime it is that Silver and Jet both got designs for this game but were cut for whatever reason

People tend to love boost games for the speed but I confidently would pick this over them anyday. It's super satisfying, slicing down enemies while going fast running in beautiful environments is so good. The top notch writing and voice acting is the cherry on the top.

I remember getting this game from a Scholastic Book Fair when it first came out! Iirc the next day I straight up got sick, like actually sick so not even intentionally trying to skip school, and ended up playing this game the whole day until the whole story was completed. Despite being sick it’s still a fond memory of mine all these years later 😂

My favorite thing about this game was how busted the speed style was. I think it was called cavalier(?) Anyways, once you level that style up, just casually running was FASTER than the boost you get from surge. At max speed you could run faster than enemies spawn. You needed good eyes and reflexes though so that you didn't smack into obstacles.
