The mantis' and infected wolf spider's attack being unblockable would make sense if there was a dodge mechanic or something, but there isn't. I hope that the devs change them to be a little more balanced. I recently found your channel and I've been watching your vids ever since. You're doing a good job on making videos. Keep it up👍

you can actually parry everything from the mantis, except the second and third slam on it's slam attack because I always parry the first one while running away, tho everything still gives you the debuffs

I have a tip for the infected wolf spider, I'm not sure if it will still work, but simply make an area to get high up like on top of the light next to the tree, and while the spider is making its rounds just shoot from up there with a bow, and eventually it will jump of there, then just glide down to the ant hole entrance, and it should jump back down and die from fall damage. Though, I do believe you have to do quite a bit of damage, but I'll leave that for you to find out lol. Again, I will most likely come back to update if it even works still.

I was trying to get the volatile fang trinket. This can only be obtained by stealing which requires melee hits. I also had to use the sticky fingers trinket to steal more items which is what made it so hard

quick tip to anyone struguling to beat the wasp queen on whoa you can just use a crossbow yup any crossbow with any arrow because the wasp queen minions need 3 hits to kill with any weapon so just shoot block then shoot again to kill them really quickly i dont know how i figured out this trick but i am glad as this boss had me raging

It's crazy you got the Speed Droplet after what, 80 Aphids? Me and my friend had to punch over 300 Aphids for it to drop using Sticker Fingers + Rascal Rogue. Talking about no luck

You get it once you've beaten all of them. If you don't have it then you've missed a tayz.t somewhere. Most likely it's the ones under the hedge in a broken lab piece

You can block every attack. It’s just very hard for certain, except for the scream that’s impossible.

Not true. You can't block the explosive attacks from the infected wolf spider. You also can't block the jump or land from, the mantis. Even if you do block the other mantis attacks you still get all the debuffs.

What I would do against the mantis is go into 3rd person and play it safe even with melee as I managed to take it out with a widow dagger on 1st try

You can equipped perfect Perry mutation, which will help you parry more

Not how it works. The parry master mutation gives you stamina every time you parry, it doesn't help parrying at all

From what I heard on Whoa it is better to wear a roly poly helmet than the sleek gasmask. Haven't tested it too much myself though

Sour rusty spear was for underwater as throwing it 1 shots every creature in particular the spiny water fleas. Other weapons were just good against all enemies of that elemental weakness

Anchor using ramps to multiple points, ideally high up like on the light or roots. You can also use the mushrooms on the tree as anchors. Don't go too high or the tree becomes non existent and you walk straight through it
