fun fact, Base game drauger archers shoot in water cos they dont swim, they just walk through the bottom of the water. i myself have died a fair few times to this.

I was confused by the use of stone floors to build up. Luckily it seems what I thought would happen did happen. Gotta use pillars as the building works by a value of each object subtracted from the amount of objects off of the base (usually ground but a tree counts too). So either you need to hoe the land up out of the water for your castle, or have a small castle by using many pillars to raise it up as pillars are 2 tall where stone floors are 1 tall

Love the series! Just a heads up, with the seed totem, you can just punch it (no weapon) and all of your crops that are ready to be harvested will pop, and you can then just gather them up.

It's honestly taken years to get to this point, because a while back I was trying quantity over quality and hoping that even just one of my video's would get any engagement at all. I can honestly say, this is all I've ever wanted and the new content that I've created what with the story telling voice-over on gameplay is just that. @@RayofpandasGamingChannel Any success you're having is completely earned. I (on a different channel I'm not gonna mention cause it's rude) am also trying the quality over quantity approach. But man I think I've over-exerted myself there. 16 hours of editing for 30 minutes of footage from 3 hours of video? It might pay off, it might not. All I'm saying is I know it's hard work, and with you building up a reputation of making quality videos at a slower pace, that's what people are gonna expect. I wanted to say something when you were apologizing for being late about that, but in essence, don't worry. I'm gonna be watching KZbin today, tomorrow, the day after that and so forth. I'll see it when it's done. Now that I think about it I actually prefer it when it's less often but higher quality. I find myself abandoning LP series if I miss too many episodes cause I don't feel like catching up and I've moved on to something else. I'm rambling on now, as I always end up doing but I see you and I'm rooting for you and wishing you success. KZbin is hard to succeed on but clearly there is space here for you and your style of content too

5:00 I saw the issue immediately in your first 100 day video. You needed to build the outline of your stone outcrop and then fill in the center will raised earth just below the floor height and then apply the middle stones. You were already yellow at floor level otherwise.

I've just started the series and it's brill so far! Genuinely curious how your fps isn't taking a hit though xD my instances are at 7.5k ish and wrecking my fps down to the 40's, seems Valheim doesn't utilize my CPU very well and its a hungry boi.

Yeah, the biggest thing I didn't show was a lot of moments in the base or just doing weird things on that same island. I may have hid the moments where my fps took many dives, haha. Modded valheim is very intense!

Oh also, you can put iron fence gates inside stone walls to give them added integrity. That's how my friends built their big castle. Just put the gate down first and then when you snap the wall onto another one the gate is invisible inside it. Sorry for the wordy explanation 😆 Hopefully it makes sense!

Honestly, I'm glad there's two sides to Valheim, like a there is a coin. It's fun having crazy mods that do absurd things and then it's really relaxing and just very enjoyable playing through some Vanilla Valheim when I want to take a break. Hey, loving your channel and the series! Quick question regarding your mods you've installed. I've used the R2 mod installer on thunderwolf to get them all downloaded but quite alot of them aren't working in game. How did you get them all working together? Those 4 star draguhs are no joke!! I really appreciate the support on the series, Matt! As for mods, I'm having the same problem myself right now. After the new update with Vanilla Valheim and an update with a mod called "Jotunn" the mods seem to be in need of updates. Quite a few things disappeared in my Modded Days series likes runes, seed totem, certain crafting benches related to bone appetit. I'm hoping for updates soon. I did reinstall with new clean files though, and made sure to have back-ups just in case. I'd wait for some updates on mods for not, and yeah... the 4 to 5 stars are the real deal! Hope this helps and 300 days will be coming in the near future!

Coconuts! 🥥🥥🥥These videos are always more than worth the wait. ✨ Does one really NEED a "reason" to build a massive fortress? Is it not enough that it simply IS a massive cool-looking fortress? Seriously, as That Gamer Who Only Ever Makes Castles in Building Games, watching the base come together in this video had me salivating. I still find it tricky to fully visualize and build things in Valheim, and I especially have trouble making stone things look particularly nice, so I'm floored by your creativity and commitment with your Valheim bases. There's really nothing quite as satisfying as watching a hoard of monsters throw themselves fruitlessly against your defenses while you sit back and sip some mead lol.

It's a mod called Epic Loot, giving you the ability to have weapons with special effects and you can change the colours around as well :)

Yes and no! At first it felt like it should be, but now it feels a bit more balanced with some of the new changes

It's the same mod, you just need to go into the config mode and change the respectful colours to what you'd like :)

Honestly, just have to separate games going between Modded and Vanilla. I stick to playing the Vanilla Valheim with the in-game updates and use Modded for just the mods themselves! Hope this helps

Yo death knight has 300 additional hp max with the souls and the second ability is rlly good i recommend getting to a weak spawner like a greydwarf or the skeleton and getting 300 souls
