Have some info from a professional Yanqing Main :D ✤ His current best lightcone is Dr. Ratio's ✤ He needs a shielder in his team, the best one currently being Aventurine, and 2nd option being Gepard ✤ Yanqing needs 20-40% CRIT Rate in stats since he gets a lot from his kit ✤ He works really well with Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Tingyun, Robin, Bronya, Silver Wolf and Pela ✤ S5 Swordplay is better than his signature (it's hoyo's fault for messing up) ✤ And funfact, his sword's name is Yanzhuo :D

I actually built my 4* Dan Heng! I put him on the 4p Pioneer and 2p Rutilant Arena. He does some nice damage when coupled with Sparkle and Ruan Mei :)

@@cheyanne2001 i personally use him with that set, but with welt, tingyun and huohuo. i believe the highest ive got him dealing outside of SU is about 200k? because its pioneer its good to pair him with a debuffer to utilise the 4 piece more

some comments for potential Yanqing builders: - crit rate and basic attack light cones (like Cruising on the Stellar Sea and Seele's) aren't really good for him (cr only works if you're REALLY unlucky with your relic rolls) - I don't wanna repeat what is in another comment but yeah Ratio's lc is his bis - for traces I would of course level all of them up but I would prioritize the big nodes, ult and talent, then skill and then basic attack, as you don't really want to basic attack with him - The Wing-Soaring Valorous is currently his BiS relic set (at least if we're talking ult damage and from my experience, he doesn't lose much skill/fua damage compared to the 4pc ice set) - for planars I'd go either: Glamoth, the new FUA set (which actually works but mostly with Aventurine as a shield), the Arena set or the old ult/fua one - speed boots are kinda overkill imo, it's better to go atk% and just get speed from substats and supports, he has high base speed and a speed trace so it's fine forgive my lil rant but I just thought it might help someone! ^^

Also some things I just thought of! Mostly about his talent: - HP draining mechanics (like Jingliu's) do not remove his buff - the buff is only removed when Yanqing is directly hit by an enemy and loses HP because of that, so it is better to run a shielder than a healer - if you, at some point, have full/almost full energy and no skill points so you have to basic attack with him but you DO have talent active from previous turn, you can use the burst with the buff from the talent if you're fast enough! Just have to click it before the turn actually ends! Might come back to add some more stuff if I remember something 🗡️

You know, I started playing this game all the way back in 1.0 because of him, time skip to now and I have Bronya E1S1, two Bailu light cones and all the standard characters EXCEPT YANQING. With that said the day I get him I WILL build him the best I can, at this point it's a matter of honor Edit: My 5* selector was Clara because the only physical dps I had was Sushang and she could only do so much against multiple enemies

Yanqing is a really cool character to play and my first character for most of 1.0 ^^ so I have good memories ... I unbuilt him to build Jingliu at the time and never built him again even though he is lvl 80 full traces with Eidolon and I have his signature LC ahah He is cool but suffer from one single issue ... he loses his great bonuses when hit and thats big, also his FUA is too random

All characters in this games, with 2700 atk and more than 200 crit damage make alot of damage, its not a secret, the problem is that you need a lot of time , or waste money, if you wajt max lv, mas light con, nax traces etc,repeat the same wit a support to get max dmg.there are no bad characters, just need money and time, thats why wacha sucks, Time=money
