As a native New Yorker, I have to say my you did me so proud with this video Mai! When you talked about your experience of stepping outside of the touristy spots and going into the neighborhoods of New York that's the truth. The real New York is the local bodegas, it's the cafés, it's the ability to walk and visit Jamaica, India, Mexico and Korea- all on the same block, it's the ma and pa owned pastry shops, it's the little local parks, it's the boutiques on Flatbush Avenue, it's the fire dumplin spots in Flushing, it's the obnoxious laugh of the Russian icee man in Brighton Beach- not the big fancy buildings and bright lights to draw in your money. The real memories are made where you feel at home. Real New York feels like home
