That's a good price for the capsule. It looked comfortable enough. I wouldn't have liked the cold shower though.

@flyingpurplepizzas Thanks for watching the video! Yes prices in Ukraine are very low since the average salary is $400.

The food you bought would cost $40 in Canada🇨🇦, the only think that hasn't sky rocketed in price is bananas. Bread is $3 a loaf, the bologna is $10, chocolates $12-15, oranges are $3.49 a pound (over a dollar an orange)

@Dennismelnychuk and this is in the context the place where I bought the groceries was 20-30% pricier than other supermarkets in Ukraine. BTW bananas here conversely became very expensive.

I am googling and cannot find Hotel Ation. Do you have a link? I love space-themed places (been to NASA's Cape Canaveral many times) and am trying to plan my visit. By the way, I really admire the smiling attitude and adventurous spirit you exhibit in your videos.

Hi @solifugus! Thanks for the sentiment! Hotel Ation? What kind of hotel is it? Or you mean the capsule hotel from the video?
@solifugus5 күн бұрын
@@TetianaSim Yes. I saw the "Hotel Ation" on the building in your video and so assumed that was its name.

12$?! Its pretty expensive considering wages in Ukraine.
@TetianaSim23 күн бұрын
@ciachofil That's true. Prices went up, and it was a pretty expensive supermarket. You can spend less for the same items in cheaper supermarkets or in conventional stores.

@@TetianaSim Im saying it because Im from Poland and thats about 50zł and im sure I would buy more for that but I guess I don't have to explain it for you to you.
@TetianaSim23 күн бұрын
@@ciachofil at the current pace that prices are increasing, Ukraine will soon catch up to Poland in terms of grocery costs. :(

@@TetianaSim While prices of food in Germany in shops like Lidl, Aldi are similar as in Poland which is already a bit unjust but its mindblowing to think that people in Ukraine would have pay as much as Germans while their earings are expotentially lower I don't even want to think how many times. And yet Im relatively happy to live in Poland because there are many worse places in a world to live in. Tbh Im not sure if I would like to live now in France or Sweden or U.S. even if their standard is slightly higher.

@@ciachofil I wouldn't compare the US directly with European countries, as it stands out in significant ways. They don't have free healthcare or education, and the crime rate is too high, which can be seen as major disadvantages for us Europeans. Even though their economy is stronger, living there might feel very foreign and uncomfortable for us.
