Try the lo fi compressor. On the master. I've done a full album with that machine. It's way to versatile.

Yeah. I'm an MC-707 owner and the SH-4d is something I want but don't need. I could see using it as just a synth layer machine paired with a drum machine like the Syntakt or the new Digitone mk2. Great vid, Nick!
