Managed to squeeze in two Mewtwo raids on Saturday because Easter Sunday where I live is a HARD holiday (no stores open) and I had to do all my running around; caught a shadow 80-something and then blew the catch on one close to the floor. I just wish the regular one would come back into raids so I could grind out candy/score one for mega-ing. Eventually. And yes, Shadow Ball requires an Elite TM along with Psystrike. Be sure to use any TM if it's still March 31 and you have a shadow Mewtwo with Frustration!

Congrats on getting the shiny!! Saturday was my first Mewtwo raid event as I’ve only been playing since last year. I did 19,000 steps, 10 raids, caught 5 shadow Mewtwo including two that were 14-15-14 and one of those two was a shiny. Properly happy with that result!!

11 raids on this busy weekend, more than I thought I would be able to do, but the results were crushing especially compared to some friends. Of the 11 raids, one (2star) fled and the best of the rest was also just a 2star 2332cp. No shiny, no 3star... A 1star and a 0star shadow Groudon didn't help to lift my spirits much. A cursed (shadowy?) weekend, it was!

Congrats on the shiny! Did 70 Mewtwo raids myself with our community in the Netherlands and I got 3 shinies. but unfortunately out of all 70 Mewtwos, the highest IV I got was a single 91%. Times are rough. xD Keep up the awesome content!

Wish there were ways to get friends or something to join these shadow raids even if it was like a specific level of locality - eg everyone in a suburb can remote raid but past say 15kms you can’t? Idk. But outside of South Africa (and I’m sure other places) it seems easier to accomplish these type of high level Pokémon in the game - because we just don’t have people to do local raids in the capacity they’re in

Yes, to all the haters, not everyone celebrates these holidays. But when you have in-person raids on a major holiday, all the people that celebrate won't be around to help you defeat it. This effectively dilutes the community for the event. So even if you don't celebrate.... IT STILL NEGATIVELY AFFECTS YOU!!

Mystic, you don't need to mega evolve a pokemon that matches Mewtwo's type. The mega bonuses apply to pokemon of the mega's type and all raid bosses.
