My fav part of Mardi Gras is the music and the food! I love that its turned into a food festival throughout the years. My first Mardi Gras the only special food they had was the seafood cookout table

Sup Demi! I went to Universal for the first time last year during Mardi Gras and I’m glad I did. It was so much fun! There’s so many things to do and see, and the fact that it’s included with your regular park ticket makes it so worth it. I definitely need to book another trip to experience it again. My favorite part is the parade (even though I only caught 2 beads😂). I have to tip my hat to you because you always try every food item at these events to give them a fair review. Spending $300 on food and drinks is a massive expense, so I’m happy I can help in some way by being one of your Patreon patrons. I think you’ll really enjoy the Puerto Rico booth for the skewer, hotdog, and dessert for a non spicy or Cajun option! Definitely one of my favorites booths!

Last year was my first experience with Universal Mardi Gras and I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the food options. I was really excited booking my trip this year in anticipation of this festival however, it seems like they’ve scaled back a bit on the quantity of booths and options of food. I’m a bit disappointed. Still going to be a good trip and have some “must trys” but overall I am left feeling like they cut corners this year.

There is definitely a lot less this year. I really want back Japan and the Bloody Mary bar for the different options. But the quality and the portion sizes are just unmatched for what is there. I hope I was able to help you make your food and drink list and I hope you have the most wonderful time!

Thanks for the coverage. I am curious about your comparison/opinion of the food quality/variety of this festival versus the Epcot festivals. This food looked really good.

The main difference is the price and the amount of food you get. The Epcot food is small portions and it’s easier to try more things. Mardi Gras is almost like a meal. I think the quality of the food this year was top tier! But it’s always hit or miss depending on the dish.

They do not clean it, they will fill it with whatever drink you order that eligible to get as a refill. I hope you have the best time!!
