Helmet on poster is tilted down, that is why you were unable to position eyes and scalp into it. Hemlet from teaser clip would be better reference, but camera is bit low. My problem with hypothesis, that this agent being player's character and also synthetic, is the synthetics cannot use biotic powers and it would be strange ME game without using biotic abilities.

If the antagonist isn't a rogue AI I will be flabbergasted. The Catalyst says as much "Catalyst: Yes but the peace won’t last. Soon your children will create synthetics and then the chaos will come back." ME:A talked about the dangers of AI and I feel what happened to Ryder is similar to the concept of Synthesis which the Archon proved can be weaponized against the Milky Way. I wouldn't be surprised if the above N7 isn't some hacked version of SAM. The Angara alongside the Geth is evidence enough for me that this game will not be discounting the events of ME:A and likely will at least be a sequel even if not about Ryder and the events around the Kett.

In multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 (which is also canon btw.) Systems Alliance after joined council allowed other races to send their representatives into N7 training program as cultural and military exchange. In Andromeda Cora Harper was in Asari Commando Unit before that happened, yet she was a uniqe case of human reaching biotic levels of pure blood Asari (same as Jack, but she was an experiment).

I still think an Asari can fit in that helmet. Considering Thessia was basically destroyed, it wouldn't be far-fetched that the Alliance stepped in to help the Asari rebuild their society and therefore Asari commandos could have started serving in the Alliance military and become N7s. Could even be a child of Liara, whether with Shepard or someone else. With Liara's connection to Shepard and the Alliance and the Alliance's aid to the Asari, her child could go on to be an N7.

There's already a multiplayer canon EDI-like unshackled AI called Alliance Infiltration Unit in the universe. With AI being such a huge buzzword right now, and the Legion story arc being so emotionally resonant with players, it could be an opportunity to tell a Cyberpunk-like story of a synthetic being discovering their identity...and maybe they've fused with Shepard in some way, like V & Johnny in 2077.

So Gamble jokingly called the next game "Robowolf" like a futuristic version of Dragon Age "Dreadwolf", but what if the real meaning of the "wolf" here is the "lone wolf", so "robo lone wolf" means literally this dude we seen in a teaser since he is, well, lone. And if it was really about him then it proves the fact about him being an AI ("Saw this lone wolf? He is robot!"). Theory №1: as you mentioned he dressed more like a villain + the fact that ME series was ALL about companions and ME simply cannot be about a lone protagonist = all making it clear he is not a protagonist (even tho i wouldn't mind him being one, he looks badass). Theory №2: as we tie fact of Liara picking "N7" piece in the first teaser to the fact of her clearly having a Geth companion and this AI dressed as N7 we can make a guess that this N7 operative is the geth in disguise working for Liara. Theory №3: this lone robowolf is actually a protagonist and him looking like a villain means we as player are on a "bad" side this time (tho we partially was already in ME2)... Not sure why even dressing him as N7 tho, maybe Legion obsession with Shepard's armor piece plays a role here but it would be somewhat lame. Or it somewhat false flag operation to put Cerberus-looking organisation in hostility with Alliance. Theory №4: what if by the time of the next ME game the "N7" as a "unit" doesn't even exist anymore and the scene of Liara picking N7's armor piece doesn't have literal meaning of her being on the planet and picking any physical object from Shepard's past - but instead it picturing the fact of "restoring" the N7 "unit" as a new organisation of some guardians of the galaxy, and this robowolf AI dude is seen by the plebians as somehow-returned Commander Shepard and as story progresses he is forced more and more to actually become him for them. Anyways i predict AI/synthetics will be playing a huge role in the next ME since this theme of synthetic lifeform vs organic lifeform is what whole ME3 story was about and what Reapers are warned us about. :V P.S.- and this "smirk" the person gives us in a teaser wasn't here for nothing, especially as from an AI person, could be hinting of his self-awareness or him going rogue against his team which confirms him being a villain of the story (or him just trolling us saying: "You will never guess what am i, a sentient AI!").

Now let me piggy back on your explanation, and offer a theory : what if after the event of ME3, considering the role of Shepard and aaaaaaaall the sh*t Cerberus has been doing, the Alliance draw some conclusion and thought that what they needed to prevent a new Cerberus from emerging was to have their own version of the Spectre, and they turned the N7 program into their own Spectre program. And what if, in order to avoid a new Saren, they decided to build and develop AIs (based on Geth and Reaper technology) in order to make incorruptible Spectre that will always have interest of the Alliance at heart. And what if, the enemy is the AI who is analyzing the interest of the Alliance in a totally different way that you would have expected and is compromising key projects like humankind first mass relay.

Meaning they are just as prone to going rogue as any flesh and blood person. Either they're an AI with the same kind of shackles EDI was chained down with in ME2, thus not as effective as a organic creature, or they become truly free as EDI was in ME3.

I really like this idea. It makes sense to me. The one i originally went with was a potential renegade ally for our next protagonist (be it shep again or a new character) And even with the other information, i could see it being someone taking drastic (borderline treasonous) behaviour to track down Shepard if he remains lost. We have a very long history in the series of people at the top of government just wanting Shep to be quiet when they are not actively saving the galaxy. Maybe, that hasnt changed much and the new people in power would prefer he stay buried with "the mess he made". But this figure doesnt agree?

I have two theories 1. The developers have no idea what they are doing and making it up as they go along with development. 2. The N7 clothing is a homage to the N7 in the distant past. James vega said it himself in that he wasn't sure if the N7 program is gonna exist after the reaper war. The N7 clothing doesn't look military and the main character can't be a spy because having N7 on your clothes on a spy mission is like wearing a shirt with the US flag on Russia. The N7 program might be completely gone, and the MC is just paying respect. I think the game would be like a further future version of the post reaper War video the templin institute released.

Another teardown of an established franchise by narc game showrunner. Just like Star Trek's Starfleet, Star Wars's Empire, HALO's Spartans... Making the good guys the bad guys... After Dragon Age...I'm fully expecting to be disappointed. I wouldn't have wasted a year on the puzzle... The whole thing may lead to nowhere and this is just a tech demo for the graphics. OR... But she can’t do it alone and so she embarks on a mission and recruiting some of the best that the galaxy has to offer. But she misses one person that she know would make all the difference, yes, Shepard! It’s either this or this rogue AI could have a manipulated Shepard, or the brain as Shepard in some way or form and Liara is the one to stop him. This could explain why she’s working with the geth. I could be Shepard... Even now, researchers are attempting to figure out how to 'save' everything a person is in AI form. We've even had movies based on the concept...kinda... The 6th Day? Replicas? And if you think about it, Legion could've been running a save program as a background process, while Shepard was plugged in, in ME3. And who knows what will be possible a few hundred years from now? Random theory, largely feeding off the theory in this video: what if the protagonist is the rouge ai? What if we control the bad guy? Specifically i think the cannon ending for me3 is control. Whilst synthasis is likly the best i think it wouldnt work for brinking Sheppard back, and destroy doesnt becyse of a timeline basis for them to repair everything (and remake the geth at the point of reaper upgrade and quarian/geth peace) so i think its possible the protagonist is actually Sheppard, but control ending so is in control of a robot. Amd when i theorise we are playing the "bad guy" im thinking either its a case of the galactic council going evil but sociaty is fine with it at this point. So its a case we are labled as the "galactic bad guy" which ties in the N7 outfit and would explain why the crew would help the "bad guy" protagonist. I theorise this primeraly becuse of gamble's tweet "what is a person?" Just a theory but i figured its worth putting out there. So we play an ai shep, we are the bad guy, but we are actually helping in a roundabout way and the council is hunting us for some reason. TLDR: control ending for me3 is canon, protag is AI shep, we are getting hunted by galactic council for some reason.

1. Please no Shepard. They are gone and it seems this game takes place around the same time as Andromeda. Shepard's story is over. We need new blood. 2. Since this game seemingly takes place 600 years later, that potential Asari daughter of Shepard would not be that old but around midway through her life. 3. Having a canon child of Shepard would mean potentially alienating anyone who did not pick Liara as a Love Interest and BioWare seems to be against that.

I still say that it could be The Catalyst. After all, you stop the Reapers, its creation and solution, not necessarily the intelligence that is the Catalyst. It specifically says in Destroy that you "will destroy us" which easily could be a broader reference (such as destroying the family doesn't necessarily mean killing everyone in it). in Control it says that you will replace it, but again, not that it will be destroyed or dissolved, could easily be like a CEO losing their job and being replaced.

I wouldn't get too hung up on thr design because that could be anything but I always thought this was either the antagonist or just some random placeholder because N7 is just Mass Effects marketing like with dad Ryder for Andromeda. The fella barely had anything to do with the game but he was the main marketing push because he was N7

I honestly, genuinely believe that new N7 will be the overarching villain of what could very well be a new trilogy. I know hoping for a new trilogy entirely is a stretch, but I genuinely believe that if its someone who completely mirrors Shepard's skill set, even better than the imperfect clone from the Citadel DLC, it could be a greater threat than Saren, the Illusive Man and even the Reapers. At least, this is what I'm hoping for. With Cerberus seemingly dismantled, the humanity-first ideology could be all that's left of them. This new N7 could be an avatar for the cause, taking it farther than The Illusive Man ever could.

Yo ... What if N7 got infiltrated by Cerberus. They already allowed the conversion to psuedo husks in the 3rd game. What if, in efforts to rebuild humanity, N7 and Cerberus came together (tech wise) in an undisclosed opp to create a new "human". But lets not stop there, what if the N7 is looked at as the bad guy like Shepard did with Cerberus. We not be bad guy, but we are ... Bad guy.

I find it quite funny and admire it at the same time, the fact you are scaling this helmet and trying to deduce whether or not it fits anyone's head. xD Respect to the level of your engagement and determination. My first thought was, are they really so precise and exact in creating graphic design for this trailer and really did they focus on this detail that much? Is it really relevant? I hope you didn't waste your time on those details. :D But still - great job. You should work for CIA. :D

Its been a while so the name might be wrong but its Eda or EDI or something right? thats the only AI I know of, not that this is her per se but maybe it is? otherwise this is pretty interesting
