If you include black holes into these theories I am not sure what a massless ship sent into a black hole would do but since light, which is also lightless, is sent into a black hole it can't escape. Mass effect engines (which do allow FTL just way slower than relays) might help survive the black holes even without a relay though so the relay has to serve some sort of purpose beyond just sending someone faster. The problem with traveling black holes to parallel universes for me is there doesn't seem to be a way back to your original universe. The new N7 could be a Shepard from an alternate universe revived by Liara.

Okay I see MR 7. So I am thinking Mass Relay 7 and my one brain cell that has the need to question everything asks “Where are the other 6? Also are they using these to jump into the black holes?! There is another N7 we know and we can be 100% sure is dead. Alec Ryder. He knew Liara. Maybe Liara was here hoping to help Ryder revive Father with help of Cerberus, with another Lazarus project. But there got to be twists . What if real Illusive Man never confronted Sheppard, but his clone. He jumped ship with Andromeda Initiative with last Ark when he saw Reaper devastation on Milky Way.. Maybe he is the Benefactor. It would fit a profile. Killing Jien Garson, probably would get Alec Ryder killed if he didnt sacrifice on that Habitat 7. Why? He wants human dominance he was failing due to crude reaper force in Milky Way, maybe reaper were too much to handle and he just escaped to seek out a fresh start and just want everything is kept secret while he works his agenda put humanity on pedestal in Andromeda. Is Spender his direct empleyee? Very likely in this scenario. What is datapad with Benefactor in it doing in the top secure kett facility, you can read when on mission to save Moshaa Sjefaa? In the scene Liara seemed older. Deep in thoughts as if she is remembering something - and she is. Time when she was recovering Sheppards body and helped them finish work, ending the reaper threats. Nostalgic smile. Hoping she could do the same for Ryders. Whie i do love trilogy (with the exception of the last 20 minutes) I believe Sheppard has done maximum, whatever choice they made it was culmination of their hero life. Lets give them the peace however they chosen to end Mass Effect trilogy. With that said I would love having a nice DLC size closure, but not reviving, cloning, another universe Sheppard - omg no.

I think if they go the parallel universe route it *can* be interesting emphasis on ‘can’. I think multiverse theory has been done to death in the worst ways and so a lot of people will dislike it on reaction but I also think it could be one of the coolest games if it’s done correctly. Mass Effect has always been about uncovering secrets to stop the greater threats in the universe and so if done smartly and done correctly the story and even gameplay elements that go into making a Mass Effect game based on hoping between parallel universes might be super fun. It’d just have to be done with immense care and creativity

The multiple world idea would ve a good way to explain the different endings for mass effect 3. So every ending can be canon

"They're Going to Take Down the Dreadnaught" is a line in the opening mission of ME3. It comes from the moment in which a Reaper takes out a human dreadnaught while you are running around with Anderson.

Perhaps the new relays could simply lead to uncharted parts of the Milky Way that were originally outside of the relay network, and the Systems Alliance runs into a race of hostile aliens (or perhaps a simple misunderstanding occurs like what caused the first contact war) that kicks off a new conflict. It would serve as a decent enough beginning arc for a new trilogy of ME games, were Bioware to choose that route. I'm skeptical of multiverses/time travel in fiction since they tend to cheapen conflict. I don't care if they bring Shepard back or have us play a new character as long as they bring back that sense of adventure that the games had, and opening up previously inaccessible parts of the mass effect universe could be a way to accomplish this.

Maybe it leads to alternate universes based on the three different endings of mass effect 3, so we get to explore them. On a meta level this makes the Mass effect 4 universe separate from the one the players played on mass effect 3 allowing all choices the players made to be canon without having to have the developers choose one.

Have you tried a Turian head inside that helmet? I know, Turians have completely different physical characteristics... However, the thought of a Turian head in that helmet crossed my mind.

Some minor points about the geth in clothing: all geth can speak. The original geth platforms prior to the morning war, geth much less advanced than models following them, spoke quarian language. If a geth WANTED to speak to a council race, it certainly could. We also know that geth study the extranet, and since geth share a consensus, it stands to reason they could easily learn human or asari language. When thinking of geth as a race, we have to remember they are machines. AI. They absolutely have the capacity to learn and speak a language. I think a more likely scenario is that current standard translator VIs don't have geth language encoded. It makes no sense since geth can just speak in ypur native tongue. However, if ypu are the shadow broker and don't want people to know what you are conversing about, perhaps she has a translator vi that CAN translate geth spoken language. This would let liara talk to the geth without anyone else knowing what they're talking about. As we are listening in on the conversation, and we presumably don't have a translator VI capable of understanding the geth spoken language, we just hear the machine noises.

Maybe the Alpha relay? It would explain the meteors in the transition since we destroyed an entire star system. We destroyed it in ME2, though that doesn't explain the audio except that we destroyed the relay to stop the early invasion of the Reapers. Maybe.

MR 7 belongs to Mass Relay 7. It is the 7th relay or the 7th iteration. What you see in the left corner is a lens reflection of the ship that is flying over the relay. In this scene the camera is first in orbit and looks trough the lens, scene transition. The camera moves trough the monitor. The moire effect is only a visual indicator for the Player. Now the camera looks at the monitor and you can see a reflection from a person standing behind the camera the effect is also used in the matri movie. Its likely that bioware f*cked it up, the "trailer". In the destroy ending, the relays got repaired? What Ending is canon for the next ME?

the disk is more a planetary disk. And a trailer gives only some fanservice and give only hints that a ME game is coming.
