Looks interesting! Will there be a rule book (WIP or otherwise) available to peruse prior to backing? I’m definitely considering backing though I wanna make sure I like the game mechanically first!

I love the artworks so much! But I gotta ask though, are the booster packs all random instead of treating them as an expansion for the game?

So everything gameplay-related is all standardized. There will be a base set and an expansion that the cards are always the same. As a fun promo, I'm doing limited release alt arts in little randomized 2-card packs. So there will be like ~10 alt arts and you'll get 2 of them, I'm throwing one of those in every box. They don't add anything to gameplay, they are just reskins of existing cards with new art and a 1st edition seal!

@@umamifriends I was sweating bullets cuz I really don't like random pack opening for expansions as I'm burn out from traditional TCG. Opening packs is fun, playing against people who have advantage by spending more isn't so it's great to hear packs are only for promo arts!

Kraggor - This is all really coming together! Every video gets me more hyped to try it out and get it all ordered once available. Can't wait to see what is included in the packages but boosters as you say are always super fun! Maybe a pre release expansion booster or custom booster with guaranteed alt art character would be awesome for everyone to share their findings on discord although may be hard to get that sorted before release haha.

This is exactly what I'm working on! I'm still cleaning up the format but there will be some form of random alt art booster to supplement the regular expansions

it's just made up. If people like it I'll keep using it, if they don't I'm interested in alternative ideas! I'm looking for something a little more concise than "a set collection / engine building card battling game for 2 to 4 players" hahah while also making sure I don't alienate TCG / collector fans
