I think one of my favorite Rom-Coms will always be Kaguya- sama love is war. To me it was very unique from other rom-coms in that its more of a strategic physiological battle for love and I just thought it was brilliant. I'm waiting for the quintuplets to come back as well.

Kimi ni Todoke and Toradora! are the most complete, very Japanese romcom anime you could watch. They’re hilarious but not over the top and corny like most cliched harem/romcoms. Heavy on the slice of life elements that’ll make you feel good and a changed person ones you’ve finished either series, not to mention very tear jerky and will definitely hit you in the feels ^^ Angel Beats has some romance but it isn’t the focus of the show, but just like the 2 anime listed above, it’s truly life changing. It’s also only like 12 episodes long.

Brooo try the sports era You won't regret it It's different from any others but you can feel the hype like crazy, it's uniqueness will harbour a special place in your heart/mind so you won't ever forget. My personal favorites Haikyuu (it's a shonen) , kuroko no basket (THE GOAT) , ping pong the animation (this one is so deep that it's beautiful, it's not about just sports but LIFE, don't watch it for animation or action) , baki . Others you can try are hajime no ippo, slam dunk, ace of diamonds. There are very less people who react to sports anime, and it needs to be promoted, would love to see you react. Have a nice day.

Oh boy.. just wait till you start Elfenlied and Grisaia.. your're in for a heavy ride my boy! (might aswell get traumatized) Elfenlied is one of the classic Psychological/Splatter/Horror Anime.. Grisaia's source material is from a H*ntai game with the same name but the Anime is going with the heavier psychological parts than the smash action, no not the deku kinda smash action.. Oregairu just officially ended with it's last season finished airing last season, all I can say it is a phenomenal show and it got me so emotional I started crying several times during the end of season 2 and season 3. If you cried after/during Your Name, Weathering With You, Anohana or Your Lie In April.. you never have seen Clannad Afterstory - Clannad is more lighthearted and comical at first, ANGEL BEATS - also lighthearted and comical at first but man you will cry throughout the last few episodes (both of these were created by Jun Maeda who's new show "The Day I Became God" started airing this season - I'm ready for the "Maeda train" to once more emotionally wreck me), 5cm Per Second (Makoto Shinkai), The Place Promised In Our Early Days (Makoto Skinkai aswell), Colorful (The Movie), Grave Of The Fireflies (Studio Ghibli) and finally Eat Your Pancreas, no it's not horror but a really cute and sad romance/drama.. watch all these in a row and you probably will need to go to anti-depression counscelling.. I also think "A Silent Voice" is better than Your Name because of the redemption story part and it's more realistic MONSTER for me is the best Anime to watch especially for newcomers / people who cast aside Anime as asian kids cartoons because they only know them from their childhood, if they are over the age of 16+ (just to understand social hirarchies and politics - which play a huge part in the show) is "Monster" adapted from 2004-2006 by Studio Madhouse. It is a Psychological, Thriller, Drama, Mystery, Horror & Crime show; Horror is here not played out in the way of supernatural entities/monsters or jumpscares but throughout the darkness/monster that dwells within every human and the dark sides lurking within our society and mind. Monster is set in Central Europe (Germany, Poland and Austria) from mid 1980s - to early 2000s with the main protagonist being the brilliant neurosurgeon Dr. Kenzo Tenma, who after a for him personal moral shaking confrontation decides to go against an order from his higher ups and with this a serial murder case chase begins throughout central Europe. Go on a journey with our protagonist as he chases the murderer and encounters/interacts with various different people each one struggleing with their own impact of politics and society on their life/job. Eventhough it is 74 episodes long, the artstyle maybe old but due to it's reallism hasn't a typical Anime artstyle has aged quite well, anyways I would recommend it for newcomers to the genre of Anime as a whole, every Anime fan who hasn't seen it and anyone who likes series like Criminal Minds, Dexter and so on. It is a MASTERPIECE OF STORYTELLING and can be considered a classic among psychological/mystery/thriller Anime Fans! To these Anime genres, it's like what the Berserk 1997 adaptation and the 2006-2009 adaptaion (first two seasons) of Higurashi are to Horror fans - just phenomenal storytelling and world building which are to this day still unreached. Sorry for making this so long but I think that Monster is sadly not that well known nowadays but it is a true masterpiece of crime fiction.
