I see alot of comments saying his pricing is off. This is in AUD, Australia also uses ebay last solds as a reference point. We also have a much smaller population and don't have the same volume or supply as other countries, so our prices are slightly inflated compared to the US.

I don’t think it was a kid, they wouldn’t have the money to buy some of these cards. I think it’s a person who is just getting out of the hobby and just want to get rid of them quickly.

@@khanman9146 yup, those are some very generous prices. I would say the actual price is slightly over 450, so the seller got a really good deal dodging the taxes and fees if he tried selling it individually

I think you should be more conservative on your pricing lol. You aren’t getting anywhere close to 1100 from that collection. 450-550is a more fair estimate in my opinion for what you could reasonable get

Both seller and buyer made a profit However seller did won since most of the cards are useless and the grading company are unknown so the value won’t be that high

AUD is a less strong currency compared to USD, so that’s why the cards seem overpriced

I don’t get why the comment keep saying “I feel bad for kid” or “they aren’t worth that much” I don’t get why they don’t believe the values you put. It’s actually pretty accurate, you gained a crazy amount of value from this lot of cards. Wish I could get lucky someday for this stuff.

You technically didn’t make anything because you haven’t sold them yet so technically you lost 450 until you sell them for that amount that you stated their worth it’s saying oh I spent $500 on a car that I could sell for $1000 but you still haven’t sold so therefore you haven’t made any profit

Nah this lot is lucky to be even worth 400, every single card price shown was exactly double of actual market rate. 6 dollars for Shaymin V Star that’s a promo card you can still find in store not even worth 3 bucks.
