'86 Iroc Z/28. Bought it off a Vegas car lot (trade plus cash deal). Got a temporary sticker. That ran out. Still no plates, no title. Had the DMV investigate it and found out the title was in probate, because the car was repoed from a guy who had committed suicide. Lovely. They got that straightened out right away once the DMV got involved. In the next 3 months, the cat started rattling so replaced that (emissions testing there so had to keep that), the radiator tank cracked so replaced it, then the engine started clattering, in addition to the infamous sbc valve seal start up cloud, so swapped that for a 350. At that point all trust in the car was gone, and as a car it still had every single plastic interior rattle that it left the factory with that sounded like being inside of a Styrofoam cooler. So I put it on a consignment lot, and that douchebag wasn't trying at all to sell it because I found out he was using it for his daily driver. When I found that out, I went and got it and traded it to another car lot for a Dodge pickup. I was never so happy to be rid of any car as that car that day. Lucky for me I didn't have it long enough for the 4L60 to fail.
