because i play this game on controller it's really tough to do headshots like you can with a mouse, i mean i can do headshots but not one after another usually only get the one head shot and then have to switch to another weapon as i become overwhelmed very quickly.

my combat against the courser was far harder lol, i i'm a glutton for punishment i had at least 5 separate mods that made the coursers almost like terminators, basically that courser you first fight against, he can go down at least 5 times, but every time he goes down he sends a blast of electricity as he was build with a defibrillator to restart himself of up to 5 times, it's after that when he finally dies, but i really had to have help because he could one shot me in a full suite of power armor no problem, these courser mods are just as hard when the game is on easy, you really have to prepare, because his gun is also really good and can take you out real quick if you don't have any resistances, like he's nearly impossible i almost forgot he teleport's around the room your fighting in so he can be there one second and gone the next in a blink of an eye and go invisible, this is why i say he's nearly impossible to kill. he's still not as bad as that other terminator mod, but in confined spaces he's very deadly, i would prefer fighting him outside as it's easier to move around, unfortunately he never leaves this area so it's not like you can lead him out somewhere else.

@@TydenMajor-tt9qq what a great comment, and i honestly didn't expect a reply on this comment, but i'm glad i did, i think i used up to 5 seperate mods to get this effect. i forgot to mention that this encounter the courser had a weapon that would eat away your health that had a stacking mechanic of poison, so yes it was very hard taking him down, i also forgot to mention i died multiple times fighting against this foe lol, i was not only wearing power armor but i also had a small militia of 10 solders helping me fight him all wearing full power armor, and they all went down like the drop of a hat because of that obviously overpowered weapon the courser was using. i wish the mod author in question only gave him a normal weapon to better balance the fight so he was challenging but not too challenging, but yeah you really had to focus on your resistance's and prepare for this fight, meaning every piece of clothing armor and power armor piece you had to add in resistance's and on top of all that, you had to take lots of drugs or chems like med-x psychobuff mentats for seeing him lol, it was crazy how many times i died, and you can't just head shot him, you originally could but i told the mod author about this and he made the adjustments to make him impossible to headshot, well i mean you can still shoot them in the head but it wouldn't kill them instantly or blow up their head so the fight would continue. you could still use the mamma murphy rout, but that only does one thing, the factory reset, you still have to kill him to get his chip, which means he will also restart like a terminator would and defend itself. i just got a new mod recently that will allow me to use a punching mechanic for my power armor that packs a much more realistic punch that can either kill an NPC or get them close to death and, then using another mod called knockout framework, and i wonder if i can take him out some other way with the knockout mod if you successfully knockout a target they lie on the ground un protected and you have the ability to smash their head into the ground which effectively might negate the coursers ability to come back, maybe, again i have not tested this yet lol. that same mod also allows you to kidnap an NPC lol, so i can take the fight outside if i want to lol i love it!

@@billybob-zk9nm My advise start with goal S1,P6,E5,C3,I10,A10, L10 = 38 points ...-1 skill point - bubblehead in Concord, scrap all in Sanctuary & Red Rocket invest first in idiot savan 1&2 (3no) and scrap-level you should get level min 17 or 26 if you start with I10 and you are lucky to find ushaka hat (I1) & vault tech coat (I2) have stuff to do berry mentats & you choose to start with P6and pick Night person (I2) 6pm-6am so you need craft at night , you need to rush to dance stand on wall wait until he handle ghuls , go inside police station pick up military fatigues (A2) and patrolman sunglases (P1) , is important to get aqua boy you dont get rads from swimming , you can avoid strong enemies and travel quicker and you have instant access to Luck booblehead in spectacle island , travel to old north church write password RAILROAD , get mission , say to Ricky that you have geiger counted build in yor pip boy , go mission let Decon go first grab Deliverer , max out Gunslinger , Sneak , Mister sandman , Ninja , Grim reaper sprint , Action boy ...and most important Scrounger you will drown in 10mm ammo , in my experience that is bulletproof build , Nerd Rage might be tempting , but I never go so close to get any problem to get so low with health I have Jet & psychojet atme all the time so I can slow down time , and from my personal experience I3 is max intelligence you need just for Lone Wanderer , with stealth build I will kill more enemies = I get more xp , on average 60% more .

i started playing this game roughly a year ago and i liked it but something felt wrong based on the general mechanics because i would always end up with endless trash, well i was playing the game on various difficulties and avoiding survival mode, however recently i have started to use survival mode and i have found that missing ingredient in the overall gameplay and found it quite rewarding, now i had to sort of modify some things that were a bit too restrictive like the saving mechanic, in this game we run into lots of glitches and sometimes CTD's, so i needed a reliable save at the very least, and thankfully it does hard saves and not the shitty vanilla saves that destroy your save over time, any why i have left pretty much everything the same and man oh man was it difficult doing everything, but i have found it's also very rewarding at times and that this game takes a shit load longer to play while in survival mode. but yeah, i'm having fun more than i normally do in this game because i suddenly have to care about everything i do in the story and prepare for situations where in other difficulties i just had to sleep my way through every location lol,, i mean it was a breeze, but now it's terrifying when going up against some enemies as they can kill me in nothing flat if i'm not prepared or have any allies. anyway the game got even harder when the DLC kicked in, the robot DLC suddenly there are robot gangs all around the map and to top that off i also have a mod that makes the gunners a far greater threat especially their Assultron's that can take me out with one blow to the face with their lazar thing and if they melee me, it doesn't matter if i'm wearing a full thing of power armor fully equipped and i took some buffout or psychobuff in good enough health, and they can still one shot me, it sucks when they go invisible and i can't see them which is also important as my pipboy can't see them coming my way and neither can i. i also thought i would mention i play on controller and it's really not easy to play with a controller in survival mode and my fingers and hands hurt frequently, but i press on anyway and try to figure out a better way of doing things. survival mod, in the past i looked at it like what moron would actually want to play that, well now i like it lol, with some exceptions of the saves of course, actually there was one more exception i made, i got myself a mod where i have to build a teleporter at each of my settlements so i don't always have to travel on foot across the map all the time, i can at least save some time doing this and it autosaves when i use it like when i sleep. oh i almost forgot i also had that one terminator mod where he hunts you down and another is sent to protect you but first you encounter the bad one and he is nearly impossible to kill or get away from, luckily he doesn't run when he's after you he walks so you can run away but sleep is a precious commodity you find out real soon when he can appear near you and kill you as you wake up and he doesn't die easily either, so your always on the run until you can find yourself a freaking fatman to take him out with, but damn even that is difficult as all hell to find one that you can use.
