Great to see another video by you! I really needed this since mentally and emotionally speaking I’ve been super drained. I actually just shiny hunted for applin yesterday and managed to get one in legit the worst outbreak (The mounstain side one in medali). I intended on that applin being for Dipplin, but ultimately I decided to use it for a different hunt I was doing before: Shiny Appletun, a shiny I didn’t like initially on a beloved Pokémon, but that ultimately grew on me

When hunting pinco I recommend an outbreak since they won’t only be in trees and the shiny will be easy since normal ones kinda blend with the grass while the shinys stand out. That’s how I found mine

Youll be happy to know that outbreaks with alternate forms are now fixed, so after the 2.0.1 update, that yellow tatsugiri outbreak would actually be a yellow tatsugiri outbreak

I've found three three family mousholds through Tera raids so if you want to do Tera raids in order to find a shiny I think it has to be full odds though also you can find trade evolutions this way and special lycanrock form but these are all 5 level Tera raids

For the Magneti, Magneton and Sandy Shocks (2 in Violet and 1 in my sister's Scarlet), I was relying on the color of the magnets to spot the shiny as the lighting can make the golden hue hard to spot. Definitly did not to with Magneti and Magneton though.

no Hoppip is the most common shiny I've found more than 30 (and traded them off all named Pink) Edit: Also not using sandwiches, just popping up while I was leveling up pokemon near the fairy team star base, there's a ramp that goes up near the snow on the west side of that area just go up the ramp and keep going until you see a cliff of snow then back to the base of the ramp (I was hunting Chancy, I know I probably spelled that wrong) in that area found probably 90 shiny pokemon traded off most of the extras since didn't need but like 1 of each stage of evolution)

10:27 oddly i got 2 noibat fine but randomly after that found a noivern that was flying where i couldn't reach and kepted trying to get it. eventually it flew where i could reach. 27:12 oddly i didn't phase on that one (mine was iron jugulas but didn't phase) but i did phase on iron valliant.

Everyone in my friend group found a shiny Psyduck of their own as a random shiny, and I got my first random Psyduck yesterday so I think your claim is correct

I have almost 300 hours of in game play time and have not found a single shiny, received multiple through wonder trading. I’ve tried the sandwich method, I’ve tried running back and forth between routes to reset Pokémon, I’ve tried resetting using the picnic method. Anyone have any tips? I’ve watched tons of videos and nothing works for me. Maybe I’m blind and that’s the problem.

if you didnt know you can go to the city where zorua spawns nearby and reset the time there for easier eevee outbreaks, since the way the game generates outbreaks are based on location. eevee is more common in that area, can't remember what the city name is but hope that helps.

Great job on this rather tedious task, a clap and a half for thee. Also, why not do picnic resets for the outbreak hunts, might yield better results than running away and going back to de-spawn and spawn in new ones. I wish they brought back the S.O.S mechanic from the Alola games, given how the battles take place like in the world itself it'd work basically the same as it does in those games, but we'd actually see a Pokémon come into the battle, of course with the shiny hunting method being the same as well. But alas, we get what we are given and little more.
