Shiritaki noodles are not some weird weight loss product but a traditional Japanese food.They are lovely in a salad in summer or in a nice broth with vegetables and tofu. Thank you so much for mentioning the stomach issues with the konjac noodles! The first time I ate them I made 3 packets because I was not even close to full with them. I was on the toilet the entire night wishing to either throw up or release the kraken. It was so painful and I debated going to the hospital. A steady stream of drinking water helped a little but it took about 12 hours to fully feel ok again. Scary stuff and it needs to come with a warning!
@Vr4z1el
@Vr4z1el Жыл бұрын
The thing about these noodles is they absorb water inside your gut so the more water you drink the more they absorb that water and expand and make you feel more constipated and bloated. So its like you need a lot of water to digest them but the water also makes you feel so uncomfortable because how it makes them expand until you slowly digest them. And if you eat anything else during the time you are still digesting these noodles, it will just compound in your intestines and make you more bloated and backed up. After eating a pack of these noodles, my stomach looked pregnant for nearly two days until they were fully digested and out of my system. I will never eat these noodles again.
@danan9061

use zucchini noodles- If you eat alot you use 2 zuchinis and if not a ton use 1. It has very little caloriesa nd doesnt cause digestive issues and its way cheaper than any pre processed noodle product cause you buy the zucchinis and just use a spiralizer tool(i think thats what theyre called) which costs about $10 to turn them into noodles at home. Its best to steam them for 10mins and not boil them. what i do is I make the saucepan of meatsauce and lay the noodles an top for a few mins then directly mix them together to eat.

It's a very good advice: when trying to loose weight DON'T rely solely on the low-calorie versions of unhealthy foods. They are supposed to be a clutch for when you crave your favorite treat. The most important thing is to be healthy and it's impossible without a proper nutrition which only comes from whole foods.

No it's not! It literally isn't I don't care what it is it is made of, if I can eat A LOT of it and not pass over 500 calories I am in that faster than the flash If you tell me oh this is a super healthy and nutritional food but it's 1600 calories Or you can have this high volume void of nutrient meal with 50 calories I am chasing the 50 I DESPISE whe people Diss low calorie food when that's what I SURVIVE on, I feel so hungry all the time and eat so much, so having so little negligible calories in stuff is life saving

@@deathbomb4778you do realize your ruining your metabolism right? If you don’t get enough nutrients then you’ll end up having a health complication. Instead of eating something that’s 50 calories and will make you hungry again in an hour it’s better to just have a nice warm meal that will fill you up for hours.

@@deathbomb4778 I chanced my "normal" diet to ketogenic lifestyle and in 8 months lost 45 lbs (22kg) eating good all the time. Only thing is that no more carbs than 20 grams a day. But you can eat all animal products, meats, fish, chick, cheese, eggs, butter and some non starchy veggies. Only limit is 20 grams carbs a day. Everything bases that you are in ketosis and you get your energy from fat. So as you burn fat 24/7, you eat so much that you are satisfied, you get your vitamines and nutrients from the meat and eggs. What could be better?! No hunger, no calorie count, just keep yourself under 20 grams of carbs and your body goes on ketones and you´ll lose weight. And btw, i haven´t exercise at all... All that weightloss without workout. Keto and carnivore are really efective and the longer you go and eat all times that you are satisfyed you wont have even cravings for unhealthy carb loaded "food". Health effects are amazing too. I tought i were healthy person before and my problems were come with age. Haven´t been this healthy over 20 years. I were insuline resistant when i started and as i measured my blood sugars after 10 hour fast, it was 8,5 mmol/l after 3 months i did the same and it was 4,8 mmol/l. I measure only once a month and it is always less than 5,5 mmol/l and that is excelent. High recommention for ketogenic lifestyle. It have been life saver for thousands of people over the world.

@@deathbomb4778 Have you considered having higher-calorie nutritious meals as well as low-calorie snacks? Humans need 2000 calories a day. It infuriates me that companies can just put in so much effort to deceive customers with their packaging. That donut thing showed a full-on donut on the front and the actual product looked nothing like it. The carrot cake showed icing on the cake on the packaging and no icing was included. All the garbage they write on the front to trick people, and then all the deceitful tricks they use to make it difficult to understand what's really going on in the nutrition label.

@jonbbbb
@jonbbbb Жыл бұрын
I don't think it's because it's a chain, it's because a lot of people have been going to Red Lobster for 30 years and they don't like the changes it's been through. Many locations became really run down with dirty carpets, old booths, and sticky tables. The prices didn't come down to reflect the decline in quality, in fact prices jumped significantly in a short period of time. Eventually renovations were done with that extra money, but there was a multi-year period where a huge number of people thought "This is insane, prices have doubled and this place is a dump, why do we still come here?" and they switched their business to more trendy places that were no longer more expensive than good old Red Lobster. The renovations themselves aren't that great -- the updated exteriors are nice, I think, but the interior is pretty lackluster and often too dark, like Will noted. The clientele is pretty advanced in age.

Will's reaction to the keto cereal was exactly the same as mine when I ate a similar product--very crunchy, seemingly big punchy flavor. Then, I, too, slowly realized while I was eating it that I hated it. It actually had no flavor, just a strong fruity fragrance. The after taste was like chalk. I now use it as a topper for yogurt and berries. It brings the crunch and punches up the flavor, but the actual flavor comes from everything else. I'll never buy it again. 😂

Seriously, you need to heat the Legendary snacks. It's the equivalent to eating a several day old room temperature donut vs warming it up properly. HUGE difference.

The way that lady at the drive thru said "ohh.." had me dying lmao. In my weird imagination it just sounded like she got the impression that Will was gonna off himself because he wasn't having the good morning that she wished him hahaha. Man I sure am glad I found your channel Will, I hope to inspire others just as you have inspired the other 2 million others and myself!

I've found that a lot of the low carb/low sugar versions of foods (excepting various protein bars and other foods in their own category - more so things like sugar free versions of chocolate chips, muffins, reeses cups, etc.) are NOT lower calorie. Rather they just shift around the macros (usually ratcheting up the fat) and ends up being the same. I bought some sugar free hershey chocolate chips for a recipe without looking at the label. When I did look at it as I was opening the bag the cals were exactly the same as the regular chips I already had in the pantry - 70 cals/serving. And they tasted like garbage.

Amazing video, Will…what caught my attention was the nutrition facts of the bariatric cereal, that mentions 14g of protein is equals to 28% of the daily value…fit food industry is definitely taking advantage of the poor understanding people have about this matter
