This recipe is same as an Indian recipe of "potato chips" known as Papad. but instead of adding potato starch, we extract the natural starch from potatoes. And instead of baking them, we dehydrate them by keeping them in sunlight for a day or two. We also add various spices in the mixture for taste like chillies and black pepper. And it tastes like heaven✨✨

Hi deni!! I'm from Indonesia and we have snacks like this called Keripik kaca / Glass chips. And the step wayyyyyyy more simple than this 😂😂😂 for a trial you just need 2 table spoons of tapioca and cook with water until turn clear like you did with your long process of potato ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻. After that you can put it on baking paper and dry it with direct sunlight if you live in a sunny place but if it is not you can use the oven but I'm not sure how long but 8 hours seems too long. And you don't have to fry it with a mount of oil, just a little bit of oil and keep stirring it until... I know you know when you have to stop 😅. After you finish with this step you can add some flavour powder. In where I live we like salty and spicy so we add chilli powder and salt then shake shake shake.

Basically it's just starch (cassava or potato) lol 😂 Maybe the person who wrote the recipe in this video is trolling people. Cuz why we need to soak the potato if the next step was adding potato starch 🤦‍♀️ The oven part was more believable if the recipe creator live in an area with less sun exposure.
