Yeah man it's pretty fun. The core gameplay loop is super addictive when you're unlocking and building new things but once you have everything it kind of loses steam so 365 days started to become tedious hahahahaha but thank you for watching dude!!

@@Sharpie360 Hey Sharpie, there have been (IMHO) huge improvents since mid-October. Have you thought of starting a new save and making new videos? Especially after the updates, I find Aska way more fun to sandbox and experiment.

@talanthian hey! Yeah that's not a bad idea, I have been keeping an eye on the updates and it would be cool to get the village updated or maybe even start a new one if there is some custom settings to help speed things up a bit. Love what they're doing and deff need to get back into it! 😎

IIRC I believe it's CPU bound. I think a lot of the lag/frame loss is due to all the AI of the villagers. I bet it's a little better now since a couple of updates have dropped. Thanks for watching!

How do you not have 20fps with that size of population? I feel like i should have more then 20fps with 70 villagers

Oh it definitely has some massive dips, especially in the morning when everyone is waking up and scrambling for food hahaha. I had some of the graphics turned down slightly IIRC. Also any corpses laying around in the area will start to affect the FPS if there gets to be too many so I try to keep those cleaned up too. Thanks for watching!!

@@Sharpie360 i saw that you had all you foodincome on fishing. My fishermans drop the boat far out in the sea, so i have to manually bring the boat back to the huts. what do i do wrong you think?

@foppaa yeah I never really sent them out to sea to fish because it always took so long and was so buggy. I thought they had fixed the issue of them leaving the boat and swimming back in a recent patch but idk if that fixed it hahaha
