I loved the racku ! Years ago I took a class in it at our local college in Michigan. Most fun ever!!! We fired it in an outdoor kiln in winter and then put it into a snowbank after the fireing it was was amazing to see the change in colors of your project. It was so fun and enlightening! I highly recommend taking a class!

You continue to be my favorite thrifter. I like to go shopping with you! I have learned so much about values and history of items you find. Thank you for sharing your expertise and experiences. I want to share some information concerning your pretty bush in bloom with red flowers with a hummer feeder on one of its branches. It is called a Nerium Oleander. It’s leaves, stems, seeds, and roots are highly toxic! If touched, it’s sap can cause a nasty rash. One leaf can kill an adult. I have sixty years as an experienced gardener and orchard iso I’m sharing this information with you as an extreme caution. Please check with professionals if you wish to verify this. Even though lovely, it is a dangerous plant.

Your blue glass with white on the bottom that was not marked; is Fenton glass. They made some of those type of pieces along time ago, but it was for a short time and it was for a testing time. how I know about this because we were visiting the factory and the location at the time and they told us that they were doing this piece of work that you have from your collector from a collector that you bought from his location that has the little bubbles in the glass that was Fenton glass like I said. I remembered it because we bought a piece of it and it matched my furniture at the time I’d like to get another piece like it. I went through a divorce and you know things happen with divorces. I lost it but there’s a few pieces there I especially like the other piece that you bought the special one that you were selling for. It’s $75 now, it’s your house was nice. Thank you for showing it..

Yes, reselling is challenging when margins are slim, but there are always deals to be found! Many vendors are willing to come down a little or bundle several items for a better price. Goodwill is definitely a better option as far as pricing goes, but I love to support our reselling community. oxo

I had a confederate Jasmin that wound around my tree close to my back porch. This Jasmin ran up the old oak tree about 40 to 50 feet. Every spring the odor of beautiful Jasmin fill the air throughout my house. My son came home from the Army on a break helped out with yard work and cut the main root of the Jasmin thinking it was a weed. I was heartbroken but it was done. Many years later he bought me another Confederate Jasmin so I planted in the front yard around a tree it was off to a good start it lasted a year and the tree fell during a tropical storm. The tree fell and my Jasmin was crushed. So no more Jasmin for me!
