Wow the 150$ one seems more like a troll rather than a honest try that got cancelled because of the lack of time. Normally you take a male base to blender that you bought for 20-30$ somewhere, hook it up with a face, put the requested hair on top add the clothes and some accessories to it and export the model. Then you upload it into Unity, rig the model, shader the materials, put some cool effects like emission maps on the hair or some other parts, add some dynamic bones to hair and some colliders to the head and the hands (so the hair doesn't flop into the head), save the scene and export the package. DONE An Experienced Creator will do this in 30min to 2 hours (depending on how good the result needs to be) and be done with it. Also you will never get malformed bodies or flopping hair like that cuz for hair you have your preset values you always use.
@slutmagic3832 жыл бұрын
is it smarter to rig in unity instead of blender using rigify?
@MaximusProxi2 жыл бұрын
@@slutmagic383 nah u rig ur model in blender or import a already rigged model. In Unity u just check if your rigging worked and disable upper chest and jaw bone. That's pretty much it.
@auraed36352 жыл бұрын
Or you can really get into detail by using VRoid and making avatars to exact specifications. Then you just make whatever edits you need in Blender (usually I don't need to make any blender changes) then put it in unity for shaders, expression to gesture rigging, and dynamic bones (if you choose to add them).

As an avatar creator myself I can’t bear to see the quality on the $150 avatar. So many issues. Weight painting on the hoodie (especially on the elbows) is horrendous, textures on the hands and neck look creepy, proportions are not very good, overall not good for full body users with that chest bending forward. Actually, not good at all. Keep rocking that $60 one, it’s so much better.
@DeroruVR3 жыл бұрын
For the last one with the highlight they were using an emission layer on the material to get the highlights you requested instead of opening an art/editing software to make the material for the hair by scratch it seems. Which explains why it was lighter in color when they showed you.

Seeing both the 60$ and 150$ one be completely flipped MMD TDA assets, which are illegal to make a profit on, and the 15$ one be made from scratch kinda has me on the floor lol. I'm no expert, but if I plan on making someone an MMD rig, I check the model rules first. Children think they can get away with profiting off of others' work, but that's not how the world operates.
