Congrats on the new car! It's a great cars to learn how to work on, I've been doing the same since picking mine up 7 years ago. It was also my first manual car.

Mate, it looks the dogs bollocks, ha ha. I have just purchased a 2007 facelift twinscroll turbo. It is all stock, so it is a true sleeper. The wheels are the 18 inch 10 spoke, so they are not as sporty looking as yours, but it is a real true sleeper. You have done well with your one. You get some that are so poorly updated, they just look chav like and eewww. Your one is really nice though. Money well spent and if it is low mileague and you maintain it, which I guess someone like you will, then you will be surprised how much you get for it when you go and sell it. Well done with the updates. I will not be updating mine like yours. I am going to have a slight re-map, put in a completely new sat nav and audio system as mine is all in Japanese due to mine being an import, oh and of course Subaru specific deep tray and dog guards for my dog. That is it. So when I get some tard in a chaved up car thinking he can just steamroller my pretty stock looking Subaru Legacy Twinscroll, then he will get a huge and rude awakening on how quick it is. Put it in Sport Sharpe mode and it is just an unbeliably quick and capable motor. Subaru, real high build quality mans car.

Still planning on new built block from IAG/Turbo Upgrade/5EAT IPT Race Transmission in the future. so about another $15k for a full motor/transmission build. Then eventually air suspension which is another $5k LOL. But i wouldnt have it any other way!!! Wagon is looking soooooo clean man. Keep it up!!!

The STEVEBO haha glad I’m not alone! Some might say we have a problem but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Nothing like driving a car that you built and having it perform exactly how you want it to. We have some similar parts on the to do list too.

Average Bros Media yup. The 4th gen leggy is by far my favorite tuner car of choice man. Like the styling is timeless. And it can look aggressive/classy depending on the look you want. But I'm always 100% satisfied everytime I get in and drive. Ahhhh. LGT gang rep!!!!

I love your car and the content you produce. Keep the content rolling! I'm trying to do some work on my 2008 Outback 3.0 L.L. Bean, and your channel has been a huge inspiration. I'm trying to drop it using Legacy GT OEM Spring/Strut/Shocks, new wheels and summer tires, rear sway bar, and Nameless axlebacks with a Vibrant resonator. Unfortunately, I don't think I can do much on the engine since it's a 3.0r without doing some major fabrication. Have you heard of others working on the 3.0 engine?
@avengednick
@avengednick 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I love hearing that feedback! And nice! The LGT suspension is pretty common on the Outback platform and look great. The WRX has a nameless exhaust on it and the quality is unbelievable and the sound is heavenly! I've been debating getting one for the wagon. And I've seen a few people mod theirs, I know one guy did some pretty serious modification to a 3.0 Legacy if I am remembering correctly. I'll see if I can find the build thread on it.
@Smalltownthrifts

Christopher Setter A set of Raptor Headers and a Exhaust and you’d have a beast. Look up 3.0r legacy on KZbin, there’s people modding them. GT is best if you want to make the most power, but the 3.0R in stock form is good plus is reliable and sounds amazing with some exhaust work

I like your channel and the content! As a friendly advice, you might want to consider investing some dough in a new mic as well, becouse the audio is still... ... well, not great! 😁 Keep up the good work and you'll get the views and subscribers you deserve. Also I wouldn't mind watching an ad before the video if that would help you guys.
@avengednick
@avengednick 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And the mic is a quality mic, so if anything I'm guessing it's user error on my end. What issues are you having with the audio, is it still sounding blown out? We've discussed monetizing the channel but have decided to hold off for the time being given the money wouldn't be enough that we feel it warrants interrupting the viewing experience. But I appreciate you letting me know you wouldn't mind the ad! When we get to a point where we're getting enough views that the money would help provide some extra money to invest back into the channel we'll definitely consider it again.
