An idea: get your various German friends together, slowly join the server 1 by 1, but they speak English the entire time, giving no hints they speak German. Then, when the final friend joins, you all just suddenly start speaking entirely German. By this point, these will be people the server-members have known for months, they'll know them as English speakers and will have just accepted them as part of the group. They'll be totally caught off guard that suddenly, like, half their server just stopped speaking English. When they bring this up, act confused. They're in Berlin, why would anyone have been speaking English at any point?

I am from Greece. In my school, there were some people that were actual neonazis, and went to nazi marches and stuff. And they: Did not speak German (while I spoke German), did not know that nazism means "national socialism", claimed to neither be nationalists, nor socialists, and they hated history class, calling it "boring", despite nationalistic ideologies literally requiring to love our homeland so much to the point of being sick. Before that, I wasn't sure of what I was politically. I wasn't sure if I was a nazi or not, but seeing this in my school made me be against nazism. And that's why I am against nazism to this day, because of how dumb it's supporters are. I see that these guys here are pretty similar to my nazi classmates!!!

its called national socialism for a specific reason, it's a uniting worldview/ideology. It's goal was to unite both the leftists and rightists in germany at the time, and to get over petty ideological differences and class differences. It was a form of socialism in the concept of everyone being equal in the sense of everyone being a german, and countryman. For example hitler said something along the lines, do not regard people as being richer, or poorer, the upper, or lower class, look at them as a fellow countryman, a fellow german.

My only issue is native speakers speak so damn quickly (nothing against German native speakers, I'm sure I speak too quickly in English for a lot of them too) What kinda sucks though is being reminded of how awful I am at understanding German just on its own lol. With subtitles I can sorta compare back and forth with what the subtitles say and what the speaker is saying and sorta "understand" the German better and actually hear the separate words and everything. But I also know without the subtitles I'd still be clueless as I can't quite differentiate words unless they're speaking much more slowly

@@iiRaptusGaming yeah man can definitely relate, listening to a lot of German shows or audio books definitely helped me with the listening side. It’s not that you’re necessarily bad at it, you probably just need a bit more practise.
