Pretentious Europeans will never do the same : Italians and French who live in Tunisia will always speak to u on their languages and will never make a small effort to learn Tunisian Arabic eventhough they are residing here for many years . Emily spend 9 months in Tunisia and she speaks almost a perfect Tunisian dialect (she will be able to undrestand , to talk like 60 - 70% to Algerians, Lybians, Moroccans and like 40- 50% to the rest of the Arabs ) If she learns Standard Arabic she will unlock the understanding of the whole Arab World (22 countries) and Malta (80%) . (Of course rather than the English option since it's an international language ) . Emily is also showing the other side of Americans (the bright one) : open minded and curious to know other people 😊

@@samim4493 Middle Eastrens who are living in Tunisia , they do speak the Tunisian dialect . But Middle Easterns outside of Tunisia, they find it hard to undrestand it since some Tunisians are polluting our beautiful dialect with some Latin languages and because they are less exposed to Tunisian dialect comparing to Egyptian and Lebanese dialects in their countries so it's not easy for them to undrestand it !!!
@samim44933 ай бұрын
@@Hassenfeki Lol? No they don't. Egyptians and Levantines living in Tunisia keep speaking in their accents, and some of them still make videos mocking the intelligibility of our dialect and "how is this supposed to be Arabic". Apparently you just have excuses for pretentious Middle-Easterners and care about getting their validation but you have no problem hating on pretentious Europeans lol

Hello Emily, I've been following you from Tunisia for a long time. I wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your videos! It's truly impactful when you try to learn the language or dialect of the country you're in and visit as many areas as possible there. Unlike many tourists who often object, visiting only one area and if they don't like the atmosphere there, they express their displeasure with the entire country! In addition, they never try to learn some basic words in Arabic or our dialect before coming, as if we should speak English in our own country!, Yet ,when we Arabs go to another country, we feel obligated to learn and master English so as not to feel embarrassed. I really appreciate your respect for our country, our dialect, and our customs. You're always welcome here in Tunisia ❤
