When you went to London more than a year ago on a solo trip to meet up with Simon I had never had a desire to travel internationally on a solo trip before but I could not get it out of my head after watching your video. I was born in London but lived most of my life in Northern England. However for my 14th birthday my dad spontaneously took me down to London so I could see the Tutankhamun exhibition . It was an experience I will never forget. London is a fantastic city , so many shops, so much history , so much beauty and so many amazing restaurants and bars. Tara, i’m so glad i watched this! next month is my golden birthday, 26 on the 26th, & i’m also celebrating it in London!! it’s been my DREAM destination since i was 13 and best of all this is going to be a solo trip! my first international flight/trip!! i’m the same as you, i haven’t been crazy about my birthday even though i have celebrated it in the past. this birthday will be extra special for me because i finally left my unhealthy 5 year relationship in 2022 so i’ve been on a self-love journey and i believe that treating myself to this trip is the biggest gesture! i really enjoy your videos and personality 🤍

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who hates their birthday. Idk what it was but nothing ever goes as planned for my birthday. Something always happens. So I figured do less, treat it like any other day and good to go. So far its working perfectly 😅 People say you have to go all out for whatever age you are - 25,30, and so on but honestly as long as you have a chill time with one person or two, it takes away the feeling. Also, don’t like all the attention on me either haha 😂

Happy Birthday!! What a great way to spend a birthday. I had a birthday once in Paris and I was at the Eiffel Tower and sent myself a postcard. Eiffel Tower is the only place to get a Eiffel Tower stamp on your mail. When I got home it had the Eiffel Tower stamp with the date of my birthday :)

As a foreigner who lives in the UK, 40 something minutes train ride from London, I never quite get the hype of the city from people who don’t live here. It’s alright for a short visit but I find it a bit too much, prefer other more laid back cities in Europe. Sounds like an incredible birthday though!
