the wife and I use to play this game back in the day. lot of fun and good practice to stop and look for the smallest details before moving in

Your video proves the point. When I was still serving in our governments version of the "Weekend warriors" we used to practice and rehearse ambush tactics time from time( typically squad size), and even those who played the role of the enemy could walk past you in distance of 3-5 meters- knowing that there will be one somewhere and not seeing you- which is scary when you realize that roles can be reversed, since you can't and won't just be able to concentrate on every little detail. Maybe with the fact how common UAV's and thermal cameras have become the risk can be reduced. The only good tactic that 100% works- is to not get in the ambush :)

Thermal for scanning your environment is probably a must when moving through dense terrain with ambush being a possibility.

That might save a lot of lives- depends how available they are though, anyway judging from the combat footage in Ukraine, tactics have changed- i guess a lot of the stuff what I used to do mostly wouldn't work against enemy that has thermal and UAV's in conventional war. For our military actually thermal cameras were uncommon- available to the SOF and recon units only, same with the UAV's. @@X9Unsponsored

I kept pausing and scanning before you started shooting and after. The second or third time was the only times i saw you but i wasn’t 100% sure it was even you and that’s knowing i was looking for you. If i wasn’t expecting anyone and just walking through i would of never seen you. I’m sure you could get back even deeper into the woods and be even harder to spot also.

I figured people would, but I wanted people to understand how well camoflauge and laying down works at close range.
