Closed a knife shut on my finger once... couldn't stop the bleeding without so much pressure my finger turned blue. Decided that was probably not good, so went to urgent care and got three stitches. Explaining the injury was a bit embarrassing since most nurses dont know what battoning a knife is. 😂 Lesson learned.

I was strongly considering doing it myself. But I just couldn't figure out how to tie a proper suture one handed. Butterflies are amazing! Looking back, I should have used to old meat glue!

Ive had a flat tip exacto blade take the tip of my right pinky finger off. Didnt know i did it either, was working on a car model. I cleaned it and threw some super glue on it and kept working

That looks like it hurt man. I had to clean up glass window my son broke and almost cut my pointer finger on my left hand. It just had a small peice of skin holding it together

I was cutting a piece of antler with a hacksaw and it bounced out of the cut and onto my thumb on the fore stroke. Split my left thumb clear through the nail and the fleshy part on the other side.. Being me, I went into the bathroom and washed it, wrapped it up and went back to my knife handle

Those of us who work with blades regularly get used to being cut... I think. Honestly I get cuts all the time. On my fingers. When we are dedicated to our craft (and I know you are) finishing the job is a priority. I'm. Not saying we are smart, I'm just saying we are tough!

@@DocP91B I might have gotten away with it, but I forgot to hide the bloody towels. Nobody else was home but my wife was a little annoyed that A: I didn't go to the Dr and B: I left a mess in the bathroom. I also got a bad rash from the reaction to antler dust in the wound
