She cheated, promised to stop but kept cheating while they were in counseling and subtly tried turning the kids against him and he still takes her back? We’re definitely gonna see him back with another update and I doubt it’s a positive one. She just proved he doesn’t have the spine to pull the trigger and let her go no matter what she does.

Forgiving is one thing. But reconciling with someone who cheated on you? She got to have her cake and eat it too. Of all the things you can do to your SO, cheating probably the most vile. It affects the person who was cheated on and those closest to you. Just think, he's also setting a great example for his kids. Everyone around them that knows the truth is always gonna think hes a doormat.

He’s too weak of a man to be treated better. He’s allowed this behavior by not being tough enough. And his wife will 100% cheat again when he gets complacent and stops checking up on her. She had zero pity for him then for a reason. She doesn’t actually love or respect him at all BECAUSE he’s weak. She knows what she’s doing, what she can get away with. She only wants the family life that he provides her and the kids-not actually him. She doesn’t love him anymore regardless of how she fakes it and screws him to keep him happy and shut up. I have an aunt like this and her husband has been cuckholded their entire marriage (no it is not consensual or a kink) because he can’t bear to leave her. She pulled all the tricks on him-crying, dropping to the floor, stopped eating and lost weight, threatening self ending, promising she’d do ANYTHING etc etc etc. After he forgave her yet again she made the rounds sleeping with anyone that she could at his office as some sort of sick “F you” power play. At any given time that he’s talking to someone at work, it’s probably someone who screwed his wife behind his back. No joke. This is exactly why you don’t forgive cheaters. They only grow emboldened by your continued love and forgiveness. They know that they have you right where they want you and you are too weak willed in love to leave. This is the green light for cheaters. They will NOT stop. They just get better at hiding it.

I don't understand some parents, why in the hell someone could be a good parent after destroying the family and being a manipulative liar, like what they did need to cut the parent? I always feel bad for people who have kids and want to get divorced due to infidelity… because the cheater almost always goes “bUt WhAt AbOuT tHe KiDs?” as if they weren’t the ones to destroy their family in the first fcking place. Absolutely blows my mind the way cheaters gaslight and manipulate the loyal partner into being the bad guy in the equation, often telling the kids that it’s the loyal spouse’s fault while covering their own tracks.
