Yes please do read it!!! Highly recommend reading at least 10 chapters at least a video bc you'll want to savor it when you catch up. Especially since the creator died but his best friend is continuing the series. This is my upmost favorite Japanese literature next to one piece 🙏🏾

It was the benchmark by which all other works derived. Arguably, some works have managed to improve upon it. And arguably, Berserk can never been beaten. I hope in the near future we should get a season 2 of the berserk anime because it's been a long time since we got a new anime adaptation of berserk and I think it's better if we got a season 2 of the original anime because I don't think we need a remake because we already have 3 remake movies so its better to have a season 2 of the original series and i hope we get a season 2 pretty soon in the near future

Berserk is next level incredible, it is such a shame its creator passed away before he got to finish it, and a testament to his talent that so many in the industry stepped up to finish his story thanks to his close friends. This series ruined so much dark fantasy for me, as everything else seems so damn tame compared to Berserk. And so many pages and panels are absolute works of art.

Chapter 1, online, skips the entire Black Swordsman arc. The online numbering system for Berserk is the stupidest thing I have ever seen on my life. Chapter 1, page 1 of the manga begins with Guts screwing a woman who becomes a demon. That's it. I have no idea why the online versions are insistent on such an obtuse numbering scheme. Glad you're restarting Berserk after all this time, but I do hope you at least finished the first arc last time, since you've decided to jump into the middle of the story this time.

@@BlackKnight94Smalls94 You are correct. However, I'm commenting on the numbering used to mark the chapters, and how they encourage people to skip the Black Swordsman arc. The first sixteen chapters or so are commonly numbered online beginning with something like A0, and doesn't begin chapter 1 until Volume 4 after the flashback has begun. It encourages people to skip the Black Swordsman arc because "the story hasn't really started yet," and too many people consider the Black Swordsman arc as a needless prologue. All I'm saying is the numbering system makes no sense, and helps to justify people who stupidly skip the Black Swordsman arc when in reality it's more akin to skipping Skypeia when reading One Piece. It's part of Miura's story. I think it should be respected as such. That's all.

The site that Ive been using the last few years numbers them weirdly but at least still has them in order. I didn’t notice since I picked up from where I was when the last site was taken down
